I salute oh............

Now let me answer you guy on why i used milk and olive oil to bath my babies in first one month after birth......The midwife who attended to me told me not to use any soap or products meant for baby but to put a little milk and olive oil in the bath water and carefully bath...

Sh said it is good for babies skin and helps remove all the things that stick to the body after birth, especially the head.it prevents dry skin....She also instructed me to pour some oil on the particular part of the head until it closes from the inside....

Oya e don do......lol

  1. Rhapsody Today!!

    He perfects Your Life!!
    Psalm 138:8.

    Excerpts!!

"The Scripture above should give you absolute confidence in life, because it shows that your future is secure"

"Trust the Lord with your life. Don't say, well, I don't know what tomorrow holds; life is full of ups and downs. Don't talk like that! Your tomorrow is settled"

"Don't allow the circumstances rob you of your joy, fulfillment and peace"

"Peace is a consequence of trust, and trust is a product of knowledge. This is why you must get to know the Lord for yourself in such a personal way, through study and meditation on the Word"

    Today's Confession!!

Dear Father, my spirit is refreshed in your presence, and your joy fills my soul, knowing that you perfect all that concerns me. My path is that of the righteous that shines brighter and brighter unto the perfect day. You have made my life perfect, and my future is bright. Thank you for guiding me in success, victory and filling me with your glory, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

  2. You all preach it unendingly that a woman should be very intentional when getting married. You make it cardinal that the guy should be financially fluid. I don't begrudge that. It makes absolute sense. There'd only be a snag if a man demanded for the same yardstick and you went on a rage to tag him all sorts of acronyms just to disparage him for expressing what he wants in a woman. Is it because you do not meet such yardstick? You can confidently open your malodorous mouth to state you cannot marry a penurious man but you believe a man should not make same demand. Double standards. A poor man isn't attractive to you the same way a poor woman isn't attractive to certain men too. You need to accept that. And that doesn't mean such men need your money. Not at all. A lot of them will never allow you spend a dime from your own finance. They are just attracted to people that are financially buoyant like them. You need to accept that. Imagine going on a tirade just to denigrate a well known wealthy musician just because he said he couldn't marry a poor woman. Some even had the nerve to ask how much he had! Some called him gigolo! Some of you are mad. One person had to form FBI to tell us how he was asking 'aunties' for money on his way to stardom. How much more ridiculous can some of you be? Person say e no wan marry poor girl, na by force?
I personally have an idea of the type of woman I want to be with. A poor girl definitely isn't in that picture. I am not the type to tell you I want a God-fearing woman (whatever the fuck that means). I want to know what the heck you've been doing with your life. You need to show me some achievements. I am not in a relationship for poverty alleviation. I need a companion. Someone like me.

    2. I am happy you admit to not wanting a God-fearing woman. Most God-fearing people I know want people like themselves.
But please don'come here to nag ever again like you did the last time when the so-called church girl you slept with went about sleeping with other guys.
Your remaining rant is justified. People should date whoever they want and if it's a rich girl then it's there choice.

    3. As much as I understand your rant Ceaser...I for one wants someone who puts God first in all he does. You don't need to sleep in church to be that kind of person. Those who do are the hypocrites of the century but there are those who serve him quietly by doing things for humanity ...that's the kind of man I need. It's a choice cos of what I have seen and experienced. I once dated a guy who lacked integrity so much that in his office they don't even trust him with the smallest tasks. Even being with him affected me cos I started thinking the same way, even tho he was perfect in other ways, integrity is important to me. I want to be able to sleep and wake up knowing that me and mine are safe. Same way it applies to you not dating a poor girl. Everyone has an opinion and since this is a faceless blog ...anyways, as you're looking for achievements, please list yours as well inugo?? 😒

  3. Good morning everybody.

Ladies, how do you all deal with dysmenorrhea?
Mine comes with the full package (vomiting, stooling, PAIN etc).
The vomit is always a greenish bitter (like a combo of Aloe Vera and bitter leaf) liquid.
The pain is from another world, I hit myself just so I can feel pain in another part of my body.

Who else goes/went through this and found a solution? I’ve been to the hospital and I was told it is normal (I don’t want to accept it’s normal abeg).

I suddenly have developed fear of painful menstruation, when it’s almost that time of the month, I get scared.

    Solution? Anybody? Somebody?
Or am I to go through this until I hit menopause?
    😭

    1. I also had it worse until I was taught the hot water bath during a reproductive Physiology class. Pour some hot but not too hot water in a bowl and sit on it as often as you can to allow the heat enter . The heat helps your uterine contract and expels the blood easily. You can start doing this two days to the start of your cycle. Also take hot things during this time. Diclofenac tab might also help.

    2. I've started using ibuprofen for the pain. I don't vomit tho but sometimes I get the pain.

Found one powdery ibuprofen here that I dissolve in water and take. Tastes like lime. Works like magic for me.

Nobody should tell me it's not safe oh. The pain is unbearable abeg

You know the type of hot water used to peel chicken feathers?
I massage my tummy with that type of hot water meaning I BURN MYSELF and it takes the tummy pain away for some seconds. I also drink hot water so I burn my tongue also.

Thank you tho, two days to the D-day, I’ll try what you have typed.

You can also massage your lower abdomen with very hot water. Drink hot water too and take pcm if the pains remains unbearable after hot water therapy.

  8. My concern is that I cook, but I find it difficult to eat what I cook. When am done cooking, I lose appetite for the food. So my husband and children eat while I look for tea or anything not prepared by me to it.
Imagine I will cook enough food to go round and remain, but will buy from food vendors on my way to work.
There is nothing wrong with my cooking, at least my family attest to that. I just don't find it palatable and I am not pregnant. My husband in a bid to help me has threatened to stop eating if I don't eat with him, but I still can't help it. But if we are eating buyout,I eat with relish.
    How do I overcome this.

  14. Hello.
It is interesting to know, there is a generation of people that is speaking in tongues on their way to hell...

Some times, He allows your salary to be delayed, to know if you will start stealing in your office...

Sometimes, He allows some lose ladies to start suggesting sex with you, to know if you have grown...

But unfortunately, you still fall again ....
    Yes, He will forgive....
But, you will still remain in the same class in the school of glory...

    Decision separates men...
There is an OIL that comes with separation...
The weight of a man is buried in the decisions he makes when no one is watching him ...

Many times, God allows you to be lonely so that you can be holy...

Forget this public revival messages all of us are preaching...
Many are still behind in the school of glory...

Not because they chose to, but because they still don't want to pay the price of separation...

If it takes a man to be married to be responsible, we will not have many married irresponsible men scattered all over the place who are renting houses for their girlfriends, while their wives are still at home....

When a man is due for marriage, he should get married...

But don't tell me to get married because you want me to escape fornication...
Marriage is not an escape route into a responsible life...

What you cannot control when you are single has the power to control you even when you are married ...

No matter how beautiful your wife will be, you will still see other beautiful ladies....
Teach me how to die to flesh sir...
Teach me that I can live alone in a house alone and yet, I will not think rubbish thoughts...

  16. My Childhood Chronicles

Today I remember how much DearMama grilled greeting into us.

I see kids now and realise how much we have failed them.

I was taught that anyone old enough to birth me was my mummy/daddy. It was very easy for me to accept the parents of my friends as my mummy/daddy.

I saw walking with DearMama then as hell haaaaaaa that’s how I’ll be greeting everybody on the road ooooo. There was this day that a neighbour passed and she apparently didn’t hear me greet him. What I heard was,”Mr Gilbert biko bia, nwa’m o’kelekwa gi”? He replied in the affirmative. She said she didn’t hear me; next thing I heard was Ada greet again and I went,”Goodmorning Sir” *eyes rolling*
Mr Gilbert smiled and left.(This same man quarelled with me one day when he caught me speaking pigin, said my parents were spending so much for my school fees and so such language is not accepted;I went to Word of Faith. I started avoiding him lol)

Now I am grateful for those moments cos greeting has opened a lot of doors for me.

I hope to do better with my children.

    1. Nkay,God bless you for this comment. We have really failed our parents in this regard but I will continue to instill that virtue of appreciation and greeting in my children. My daughter is excellent and imbibed them but my son is still work in progress. Most times I have to slap his mouth when I notice he didn't greet visitors to the house or neighbours. We were brought up to greet everyone we come in contact with and when they are older, we must add Sir and Ma to the greetings. After every meal, we must say thank you to our parents and elder sister or brother that may have cooked. Yesterday night I had to admonish my son and give him the last warning about saying thank you to us his parents after meals. I will be reminding him with cane, going forward. These are basic upbringing lessons we are losing in Nigeria. I dont know whether we are copying the useless foreigners we mix with. Imagine going to visit a family friend and the children just look at you or say hi/hello. Or meet colleagues at work or people in the lift without saying good day/morning/afternoon/evening. This attitude just shows one's upbringing and orientation. Please let us forcefully inculcate this virtue in our children, as they go a long way in making them better human beings.

    2. Where i come from greeting is like water..ah ah.sometimes i think people even greet walls. In this unsafe generation when i was confused how to instill greeting culture with my kids..what i did was tell them to greet everyone they see. Good morning Ma/Sir.it was a sight to behold as people were confused especially in malls. By the time they reached 9 they could discern who to greet and not. Now and again they forget. I still by default remind my 19 year old daughter to greet. Hi and hello is not allowed in my house.i pray for the next generation.

  19. Is Coronavirus actually as dangerous as portrayed?
    Source:
    University of Hamburg data

Number of Deaths in the world in the first two months of 2020

    ■ Corona Virus : 2360
    ■ Common Cold: 69602
    ■ Malaria : 140,584
    ■ Suicide : 153,696
    ■ Road Accidents :193,479
    ■ HIV Loss : 240,950
    ■ Alcohol : 358,471
    ■ Smoking : 716, 498
    ■ Cancer : 1,177,141

Is the purpose of the media campaign
    * To settle the Trade War between China and America

    * To reduce financial markets to prepare the stage for mergers and acquisitions

    * To sell US Treasury bonds to cover the fiscal deficit in them

    * Is it a Panic created by Pharma companies to sell their products like sanitizer, masks, medicine etc.

Do not Panic and don't forward Rumors. I am posting this to balance your newsfeed from posts that caused fear and panic.

82,000 People are sick with Coronavirus at the moment, of which 77,000 are in China. With a population of over 1.1 billion. This means that if you are not in or haven't recently visited China, this should eliminate 94% of your concern.

If you do contract Coronavirus, this still is not a cause for panic because:

81% of the Cases are MILD
14% of the Cases are MODERATE
Only 5% of the Cases are CRITICAL

Which means that even if you do get the virus, you are most likely to recover from it. Some have said, “but this is worse than SARS!”. SARS had a fatality rate of 10% while COVID-19 has a fatality rate of 2%

Moreover, looking at the ages of those who are dying of this virus, the death rate for the people UNDER 50 years of age is only 0.2%

This means that: if you are under 50 years of age and don't live in China - you are more likely to win the lottery (which has a 1 in 45,000,000 chance)

Let’s take one of the worst days so far, the 10th of February, when 108 people in CHINA died of Coronavirus.

    On the same day:

    26,283 died of Cancer
    24,641 died of Heart Disease
    4,300 died of Diabetes
Suicide took 28 times more lives than the virus did.

Mosquitoes kill 2,740 people every day, HUMANS kill 1,300 fellow humans every day, and Snakes kill 137 people every day. (Sharks kill 2 people a year)

TAKE MULTI VITAMINS AND DO THE DAILY THINGS TO SUPPORT YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM , PROPER HYGIENE AND DO NOT LIVE IN FEAR.

    *SHARE TO STOP PANIC*
