South African President Appoints Ngozi Okonjo Iweala As Member Of Advisory Committee

South African President, Cyril Ramophosa has appointed Nigeria's former minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala as a member of The Economic Advisory Committee.






Ngozi was formally announced as a member at the the second meeting of the council which held at the weekend.


Ramophosa, the chairman of the council which comprises of local and international economic experts , while speaking at the meeting, in a video monitored said, “This is your meeting as a council. You have been working in the intervening period and you are going to be making presentations."


Okonjo-Iweala on Saturday, shared pictures she captioned: “With President Ramaphosa, members of cabinet, and members of the Presidential Economic Advisory Council in Pretoria discussing sources of growth for the South African economy and win-win economic interactions with the continent."


The council will advise the president and government more broadly, facilitating the development and implementation of economic policies that spur inclusive growth

  15. Don or whoever, no body insists she must be in every govt, even though those ones there at d moment are still recycled. My gross is people like u , most especially those in power appreciating her credibility, astuteness, & brilliance. If it was possible , they would have roped her in for one allegation for onward prosecution ,but it failed when they tried. Someone that can give account/statistics of whatever, wherever & whenever, offhand . Congrats , our Pride!!!
