A Few days after his dethronement, there is rumour flying around that the former Emir of Kano may replace President Muhammadu Buhari.

  7. I don't think people realize that Sanusi will never stick his neck out for anyone other than himself. He was emir of Kano long enough to show his own personal accomplishments on eradicating poverty asides from giving paid speeches. What he has as achievement are marriages, travels, luxury cars and maybe the library one only to himself and his family. No education trust, no vocational training centres, no women empowerment scheme, no schools, no community bank, no agricultural project. Now, he would have more time to serve on more boards, make even more money for himself and complain about problems he refused to fix.

Sanusi would happily "serve" after all the infighting and elections. What he doesn't want is to waste one naira on poster or even stand for election. His approach to Nigeria is "food is ready".
