Five pastors, including Pastor Okafor, were alleged to have paid and used same woman with disfigured arm to perform similar fake miracle.
Pastor Okafor, while addressing reporters in Lagos on Monday through his counsel, Monday Ubani, denied claims that the woman was paid N400,000 for the miracle.
He maintained that the money given to the woman was to empower her start a new life.
According to the pastor, “The recent story in a national daily and online platforms that the sum of N400, 000 was paid to her for a fake miracle is not true.
“The lady in question came to church like every other person and the said programme through which she was healed was shown on a live television and there was nothing to hide because it was not only the woman that was healed.
“The church is not new, it’s been in existence over 10 years and the members who keep increasing have experienced the touch of God one way or the other. So there was no issue of arranging any miracle to anybody”, he said.
On the money paid to the woman, Pastor Okafor said when the news broke, it was discovered that the woman had been going to other churches and that when confronted, she said it was poverty that made her do it and because she is a widow.

I've been to this pastor's church and his mode of preaching always baffles me... always calling strange name I've never heard or read of in the Bible,preaches prosperity more than salvation, even assistant pastors will be healing with 'the God of pastor Chris okafor' instead of Jesus Christ.

DeleteYeshua Hamashiach is The name he calls.. it’s the Jewish name for Jesus and there is nothing strange about it. My first time of visiting that church he called me out thru prophesy , name D.0.B, dates of certain events that happened in my life and that of my parents, trust me he was spot on and he made a declaration which came to pass a week after and this is something I have prayed about for more than 10years.

Dear sis, Yahusha HaMashiach or Yeshua HaMashiach is the ACTUAL name for our saviour. The letter J didn't even exist up until about 500 years ago so Jesus is the strange or relatively new name given to our saviour by Romans. Yahusha meaning He who saves. You might want to look it up. Most pastors/priests know this but we are a stiff necked people like the ancient Isrealites.

ReplyDeleteThis pastor was in libreville Gabon two years ago,he made raw cash.he told all those seeking fro fruit of the womb to bring equivalent of 5k and one apple ,a man man crushed by a car in front of the stadium on that day crossing the road to buy apple for his wife. The stadium was filled to the brim but not one person has conceived since then. Those who have babies now went to Nigeria to adopt. One pregnant woman died on the crusade ground while waiting to be healed. The pastor charged 100k each person for consultation,couples paid per head too.funny enough all those he prophesized to on the crusade final day were people that went for consultation in the hotel.The exchange guys in the market said he transferred 49m to naija ,he was going to another African country for crusade.please let's talk to God ourselves,the mouth the men of God have is the same with ours.
