One Mr Francis Onachukwu and his wife Mrs Eunice Onachukwu have been arrested by the Delta State Police Command for stylishly selling their 3 month old baby to their pastor.
Some neighbors who spoke on anonymity disclosed that, since the sudden disappearance of the child, the couple bought a new car which they believe is from the proceeds of their child they sold.
The couple denied the allegations but after much pressure they confessed to have given their child to their pastor as a first fruit offering which is written in the bible but denied selling the innocent child.
After several investigations, the Pastor disclosed that the couple told her they want to sell their child because they know i’m yet to have my child, they requested for 2 million naira but we later settled at 1.8million naira
Speaking on the strength of the report, the Delta State Public Relations Officer, Pius Azubuike says the suspects will be charged to court for child trafficking as soon as investigations are concluded.
Oh Dear Lord!
ReplyDeleteEven for first fruit you cannot give out a child like that in 2020
DeleteThis "pasta" is a whole scam to her community.
ReplyDeleteThey don't even value what they have. When people are looking for children. These ones are here playing hide and seek with theirs. There is more to this story. Mtchew... Who knows if the pasta is the real father of the child.
DeleteThe pastor should have used the right channel, why buy a baby when you can adopt and have the full right and custody.
ReplyDeleteBut is not bad, after all the pastor is going to train d child as his own. D only bad thing I c there is d sellers acquiring car with d money.
ReplyDeleteKai.. I'm in awe.. So the child is a commodity ba, and the only thing you find bad is they spent the proceeds "wrongly".
DeleteThe way i see it, the couple willingly gave their child to be adopted by the pastor. However, the exchange of money has turned it to something else
ReplyDeleteThis is really sad, especially for the pastor who just wanted a child.
ReplyDeleteDon't even know how to feel
Same old story.
ReplyDeleteSo buying a car is the next thing? This is greed, not poverty.
ReplyDeleteSo sad how a parent can comfortably sell their child. Buying a car with the money mean't they didn't do it because they can't afford to train the child.
ReplyDeleteIf d story here is true, I feel more for d Pastor & whatever that transpired wasn’t in bad fate. It was willingly transacted. D couple should have relocated to another vicinity , to avoid d knowledge of d neighbors. Settlement is in order.
ReplyDeleteGod have mercy.
ReplyDeleteSelling ones child is wrong.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand the worship of cars by most Nigerians. So one gives a poor person 1.8 million Naira and the first thing they do is to buy a car?
If that car was not bought, if they invested this money in a business to improve their lives, will they have been reported? Live well in jail and learn your lessons from there.
I believe the couple willingly and even convinced the pastor and wife to have the child.
ReplyDeleteI guess the pastor had to suggest giving them money, to avoid them coming on future to lay claims to a child they have given to their pastor out of free will.
I pray God visit the Pastor with his and then this shame to miracle for his family
You believed, like you were there ? How do you people ekieve things you know nothing about or is it because a pastor is involved and he can't do no wrong ?
DeleteYou guessed?.. Please go back and read. They *demanded*. They sold the child.
DeleteBoy, same way you believe every damm thing that comes out from the stable of this administration.
DeleteDON is immuned to logical rearoning because a Pastor is involved.
DeleteI don't see anything wrong in what the pastor did, we all know how the system works in this country when it comes to adoption.
ReplyDeleteNow it's a problem for him and his wife, he could have gone through the proper channel. I pray God come through for them
DeleteYou didn't see anything wrong ? I know you wouldn't be saying this if they are close to you. Like if the lady was your sister.
DeleteIf you can afford 1.8million Naira to buy a child, what stops you from adopting??
ReplyDeleteThe fear that you don't know if the baby is from a mad woman??
Adoption stigma is so 1990,avoid trouble by doing things through the right channel..
Kai hope they did not spend their night in jail, this Coronavirus of a thing๐๐
Chizzy J .
I hear that it's really stressful adopting in Nigeria.
DeleteHeard, heard. Leave Naija alone biko.
DeleteIt is stressful adopting kids even in so called developed countries but especially so in Nigeria. I wish they would make it an easier process.
Delete๐ถ first fruit offering?? Chaiii!!!
ReplyDeleteWhy did Pastor not do this legally ehnn?
Oh my goodness ๐๐ด
ReplyDeleteFirst fruit offering?? ๐ฎ
ReplyDeleteWhy did Pastor not go through the legal route?
Eka Joy just left Nigeria yesterday oooo, now she is hearing it is difficult in Nigeria to bla bla bla. Mediocrity is a diseases.
ReplyDeleteYou are actually the one who has serious complex issues
DeleteAbeg they should free all of them jor. Useless Aproko exposed the couple. The couole could not take care of the baby and sold it to someone who can .Whats the crime there. If they keep the baby and throw her out at 10 to start babysit .i guess youll all be happy
DeleteThe pastor is not at fault here, this is a mutual agreement
