She died last night at a UK medical facility after battling with what her close relative, Mr Patrick Ikorgor Okoroji termed physical affliction.
Rose Okoji Oko, born on September 27, 1956, is a Nigerian politician and senator.
She was a Member of the Federal House of Representatives from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), representing Yala/Ogoja Federal Constituency in Nigeria’s 7th class of the National Assembly.
She was elected into office as the first female representative from her constituency in June 2011 and as Deputy Chairman House Committee on Education.

How will they bring her corpse to Nigeria in this epidemic era? All of them are reaping the fruit of their wickedness one way or the other.

ReplyDeleteHmm, may her soul rest in peace, most comment I see from people that knows her proof she was a good woman, please let us live a good life so that people will talk well of us when gone. You've run a good race ma
ReplyDelete#Insidelife. She had gone for treatment for a chronic disease, something she has been managing for years and going for routine check up and treatment, this time she contracted the CVd19 and she had little chances of survival because of the underlying dx so she eventually succumbed to it.
ReplyDeleteMay her soul rest in peace. You will dearly be missed.
Cancer took her away.
ReplyDeleteDont know why Africans will not call a spade, a spade when it comes to illnesses. Just bc we are so much in denial with medical diagnoses and just plain ignorance, leaving room for accusations and counter acusations. Leaving room for fake prophets from the pit of hell who will come in to point finger on who did not kill the person. Putting families into a state of mistrust and disarray.
Sighs..
Thank you. Is it spiritual affliction the doctors wrote as cause of death? You have every right not to disclose your medical history but please don't also pull pranks like this. People don't go to hospital to buy ice-cream. Just say after an illness and move on.
DeleteOkay so she was previously in the House of Reps and now a current Senator.
ReplyDeleteOh Rose Okoh: She was my lecturer in University of Calabar. Very nice, pretty and fashionable woman. After which she got appointed as a commissioner in Calabar. Then turned politician. I am still benefiting from the queen's English she taught us.
ReplyDeleteYes, she has been sick and out of circulation for a while even when she was in NAS.
May her good soul rest in peace.
Physical affliction sounds like an euphemism for Aids.
ReplyDeleteRest in peace beautiful woman
ReplyDeleteExcercise and healthy nutrition enable the body to regenerate and degenerate our cells, reduce insulin resistance to prevent diabetes and cortsiol, this hormones are the main cause of cancer, diabete,MS,Hbp,dementa etc. Healthy gut microbiome for better immune systems, nutrient absorbtion and production of B vitamin and other vital hormones for healthy brain, heart and optimum body health. Nigeria need more awareness about the important healthy diets and excercise. After moving abroad, I changed my diets from typical Nigerian diets to real micronutrient and excercise regularly, now over 50yrs with full muscle mass, less visceral and subcuraneous fat, energy level high, heart Hbp low, higher testosteron level and better immune and cognitive function. So greatful for the knowledge. Our body is powerful machine tha heal itself from within if we give it right nutrient, mineral, vitamins, amonio acids for better functionality even if get older,we become stronger, happier and live our life fully, there is no shortcut to better healthy life, not money Only sacrifices(move your body, eat healthy and reduce stress hormone.
ReplyDeleteIs this KA?
DeleteYeah, health is wealth, but even the healthiest and the strongest must go when it is their time. Better to secure your spiritual health above all else since nobody knows the date or time of their expiration. Spiritual health is the one that matters above all.
So beautiful, RIP!!
