Nigerian Ministers Donate 50 Percent Of March Salaries To Support Fight Against Coronavirus
As a gesture to support the federal government’s effort in mitigating the spread of coronavirus, ministers have decided to donate 50 percent of their March salaries to support the fight against coronavirus.

Nigeria's 43 Cabinet Ministers have donated 50% of their March 2020 salaries to support the Federal Government's efforts to combat the Corona virus pandemic in the country, Information Minister, Alhaji Lai Mohammed discloses the gesture in a statement issued today in Abuja.
The basic monthly salary of a Nigerian minister is ₦168,866.66. Fifty percent of it is ₦84,433.33
In a nutshell, our ministers are donating 3:6 million naira.
