Locked Down To Save Lives...

Lagos, and Abuja states have been locked down for the next two weeks....(Ogun says they will begin on Friday)

Let me explain to you the layman's way what locked down means?

Locked down means you stay indoors, leave the cars parked, don't go to your neighbours and do not open up if they come knocking........You only go out if it is necessary......

I don't know what arrangements each state made for food or markets to be open or if they will give to those who do not have but i hear there was last minute shopping today....So some people should have enough food for the period of the lockdown.....

Lockdown means no work, you can sleep for as long as you want and wake up to enjoy posts on Stella's Blog....

Lockdown means all cinemas and Restaurants stay closed....

Lockdown means you stay put indoors and make Babies...lol
lockdown means that evasive spouse stays one place at last....

Locked down means you are saving lives...

Lockdown has its Positive side........Enjoy it!!

I am also currently on lockdown in Germany since March 13th and i have tried to make it as memorable as i can.....*wink*

  2. Port Harcourt is on total lock down. The military and police and on the road. There's no vehicular movement except private. All markets are closed. People are being arrested. Nigeria is getting tough over this. I hope people don't die of starvation.

    1. Teejay or whatever your name is, Port Harcourt is not on any total lockdown, please stop spreading false news. Internal public transportation is still very active. Yes, all borders are closed and a dusk to dawn curfew was imposed on some selected part of the city (from Education Bus Stop to Agip junction on Ikwerre Road and from Obiri Ikwerre junction to Choba (Ozuoba and Rumualogu inclusive). Please, be advised accordingly.

    4. The Governor's announcement was greatly being abused by Police and DSS, you need to see how they are flogging women at Rumuodomaya this morning. They are shouting to them to go home, no shop will be opened, to me it is lockdown

  3. Stella for we country, lockdown means no light oh. We are bored, hot, hungry, so fed govt should just be crediting our accounts as we are at home.
Foodstuffs inflates prices since two days back. Small money can't buy anything.

  4. I'm cool with the lockdown,
I'm just worried about people that depend on daily stipends to feed their families .

    1. Yes this...what happens to the average Nigerian that has to go out everyday to make money to feed? Petty traders, hawkers, cab drivers etc... it is well.

  6. Lock down means working from home, no light to access information from the media etc. What of the vulcanizer, akara woman. mad man/woman, beggar etc, who provides for them? Nigerians live from hand to mouth daily, who provides for them? We have bVN, why not send xash to them to buy food rather than set up 'food banks?' Shortly, there would be an increase in the CRIME RATE.

No noise from the sky at least,we loving it,hohoho

We pulled out the big mattress from store, out under sun and removed the center table in the living room, when you get tired in your crib you come down to roll there, fresh air yakpaaa.

  12. Market in my area is open.

My friend working at kenzo supermarket in Apapa went to work today. The owner is a barrister and highly influencial. He has refused to close down as instructed saying instead of him to close his supermarket, let him die, putting his workers at risk. They work from 7-10pm daily.

    Stella pls post. Thank you

  13. Lockdown is necessary , we can NOT handle this virus getting out of hand . As difficult as it is , I am grateful for the lockdown. I can’t imagine what’s happening in Italy daring to happen in Naija .
