Lagos State Confirms 3rd Case Of Coronavirus

They should stop all flights entering Nigeria before this thing spreads there.........

Some people carry around this virus for days and pass it around before they show symptoms, they should also quarantine everyone she has been in contact with and will find more positive cases.....

  2. Stella this Government seem to be lying o. Before this was released this morning I got insider info that they have confirmed new cases and these people have already had contacts with lots of people. The person said Govt will announce today or tomorrow but downplay the number of cases. Coronavirus seem to be spreading steadily already and they have refused to stop international travel into the country.

    1. Abeg, the government will not be able to hide this for too long in this era of social media...... if it is true that loads of people have it, time will tell. For now, I dont trust the government.
This is not the time to be hiding the names of people that have it, publish the names so that those that have been in contact can also self isolate.

      This government shaaaaaa.......

    2. Do not speculate. Some of us work close to these people. This one was on BA. They have already collected the manifest of the passengers on that flight and have alerted them.

    3. Anon 16:27 Have they found the other two outstanding passengers on the Italian's flight? Na wa o. So it took someone shouting on twitter before Govt even tested this newly discovered case. The best thing is to stop all flights from infected countries from coming in to Nigeria.

    4. I repeat, it is more than what Government is reporting. Expatriates of some Nigerian companies that flew in recently are already showing signs/symptoms. Dangote, Saipem and the ministry of health is not ready for this. Nothing serious is in place to fight this virus.

  7. Seriously the Nigerian government are looking at this thing with Ebola eye. It has overwhelmed UK, US, China, Italy, France, Spain, etc and Nigeria seems not to care about the plight of these countries. This virus can easily spread and may not be detected in some people who may have successfully help to spread it. Now where will Nigerian start from if this was to be the case with our weak health system and corruption. Nigeria should take drastic action now before its too late.

  10. Nigeria government are really trying their best in handling corona virus especially after having experience on Ebola, do you know that in other airport in the world, they still allow people walk in without checking their temperature, go to twitter and see a lot of people complaining. In america some hospitals are sending people home with corona virus.

  14. And government hasn't deem it fit to cancel all entries to Nigeria?

  15. Dont worry, when someone catches it in aso rock or national assembly, u will see action. It maybe too late tho. These people dont value lives here. In their minds they will be asking if it will ever kill more than insurgents or religious crisis.

  18. Last night my boys and i watched the 2011 movie titled contagion... Which has helped me to educate them about the said CoRO... Their teacher said this and that... Okay lets watch it together... Some people are good for incubating yet they look healthy, while they pass it on to those that can't/wont survive the virus.
Let God Show his Mercies On Us...🙏🙏🙏

  19. The "good" thing about corona is that "e no dey look Uche face". E dey catch Presidents, celebrities and just about anyone. It seems the people in Abuja are expecting "big money" from the international agencies as the money they wanted to borrow is no longer feasible. Oil prices have dropped so the greedy id**ts are counting on that "corona fighting money" to flex so they want to import the virus on a wholesale scale. I know say once one ogbonge politician or their children contract am, their brain go reset.

  20. if leaders of top nations can contract it, that means ours won't be spared... the virus no no who be rich man or politician

  21. I hope our Land Borders are closely monitored with necessary observations and precautions by Custom Officers and medical personnel also, because that's where another level of corruption starts.

  22. They don’t have facility to house patient when it breaks out fully, no ICUs for the aged that may be affected and still no common sense to shut down the borders now. This is a joke of a nation.

    1. We have been praying for God to deal with politicians sabotaging our progress in this nation. Coro could be an answer to that prayer. Let them not stop flights. Let it come. It would be the children of Isreal versus Egyptians. They will be the ones to die like fowl.

  27. This government is a joke. Closing border for rice, okirika and other stuffs but throwing open arms for a deadly sickness. God who is doing this to us? Even countries with better health care services are closing borders while we with nothing are here welcoming them. God please have mercy, forgive us and don't give us such government again, abeg
