    1. Before you advice her to sue, hear the Governor's and witnesses side of the story

    2. Nothing,i repeat nothing works in Nigerian hospitals. If it's to sue then you're sueing 99% of hospitals in Nigeria

    3. But still sue. Set a precedence. So cos nothing works she should just leave it to God? By the time she sues and wins, other hospitals will sit up.

    4. That’s why i don’t go to govt hospitals if I can avoid it. I had a chest infection that had all the symptoms. Thank God I went to a private place, they did the tests, saw it was bacterial and treated me. If it was a govt hospital I will probably be dead by now.

    1. My thoughts exactly. With all the hulabula of corona, why didn’t she just stay back till it’s all calm. I really don’t understand people. The airlines offered refund to passengers within the affected call off dates, grandma for just stay back. It’s sad sha.
May her soul Rest In Peace. 🙏🏼.

    2. Why o and why didn’t they take her out of there the moment she was deemed negative! They should have taken her away to a hospital for treatment for other ailments. Sad.

  10. I am so heartbroken reading this, that’s Nigeria for you, they will still share that money and do nothing that’s if it’s not even audio allocation.

Nigeria is so unserious and not proactive at all! Until people start dying before you see the so called government running around like headless chickens looking for solution that they know nothing about.

May your mum’s soul Rest In Peace.

  14. I am so sorry for your loss. That is the country in which we have found ourselves.

We have no wherewithal to tackle this virus yet the government has shown utmost disregard for the lives of ill equipped health workers and nigerians in general, taking forever to regulate incoming flights into the country. I am still wondering what point the Nigerian Government was trying to prove. That we have ready matyrs as health workers?

  15. OMG! My heart goes out to you and your family for this avoidable death.

What a country?! What did we gain by early independence?! Corruption to date.

I don't even consider your mom old at 70. Mine will be 73 this August and she is still as vibrant as when she was in her 40s.

  16. I wish your mom didn't come back 😭😭

  17. I have zero pity for people who intentionally bring this virus to spread here. Why didn't you people leave her there?

    1. Did you read? Her mom didn't have the virus but was probably just ill. According to her, her mom had stayed in the uk for 5 months and I am sure she had a visiting visa.
If she over stays, she may never be allowed into the UK again.

    2. Akiko. Same UK that is restricting pole from leaving?

    3. When did the restriction start? You people will just be talking ignorantly...

    4. Did you read the chronicle at all? Let's not be insensitive please. The lady did not have corona, and probably died due to negligence and lack of preparedness. Nigeria can afford to build at least one quarantine center in every state, we only have 36states. We had since Ebola happened to do that, and we never did. Never proactive, only reactionary. No human being should stay in those pictures I saw. Even pets cannot stay there.

  18. My heart breaks for this loving daughter. Nigerian hospitals are death camps. My own mum was receiving cancer treatment in the UK, was on the mend, came back to this wretched country to continue treatment and died after 3 months on dec 16. The hopeless Nigerian doctors just watched her die. I'm still heart broken and I can never be the same again. Not a day passes that I don't wish she had stayed back in the UK. My poor Inem, Ezinne, mama oooo!! I'm sorry I brought you back here to die!!!
