ReplyDeleteKai they all out did d 👰. Toke what's going on ? Well d weight gain suits u. Ini dimi those heels💖💖💖💖
ReplyDeleteThey sure did.
DeleteWeight gain? Lol! Second round of plastic surgery done more like.
DeleteI dont think they did that. A Yoruba bride is suppose to be modest. It is just that people follow trends these days and also Yoruba brides now dress in accordance to their personalities.
DeleteMoreover, the bride is petite hence she has to choose her style wisely, an over the top style can drown her height. She looks timeless in her outfit.
Furthermore, I noticed that all her maidens are wearing iborun (which is often mistaken for ipele). The complete Yoruba women outfit is iro, buba, gele, iborun and ipele. Ipele, i.e. extra wrapper, is for and mostly worn by mothers or elderly women.
I love that Anita went back old school a bit and let her maidens wear the full regalia with their iborun. Nothing makes me smile more than seeing the Yoruba culture properly documented.
May God bless her union.
Anon 9:36, na cloth culture dey make you smile not even better invention like the internet you are using, what is wrong with you guys.
DeleteNothing is wrong dear. Every group of humans have a culture and tradition. Even the most foremost in technology such as the Chinese have their culture which they cherish and guard jealously. Our various Nigerian cultures stand out and make us whom we are. Be proud! It is worth celebrating.
DeleteAnon 9:36 you dropped this epistle ontop someone's traditional wedding? May God deliver you 🙄
DeleteAnon 09:34, ìborùn báwo? None that I can see in any of these pictures except if they used it for a pretend bride during the engagement ceremony.

The bride must be from Ondo, that aso oke is mostly used by them.
ReplyDeleteYes,Ondo town precisely, that s our signature. Akintoye is a popular name in Ondo.
DeleteIt's for Yoruba's in general. It is made everywhere in the interior of Yoruba land, quality handmade.
DeleteOrire.. 🤗🤗🤗
DeleteDon say what you know, I am from Akure and our own colour is more of carton color. Ondo people mostly wear this color
Delete@Don, that particular aso oke is worn by Ondo town people precisely.
DeleteU are so right @ orire
DeleteCongrats to them.
ReplyDeleteI'm beginning to realize that men likes a girl who can hold her own, what can you bring to the table, how much do you have in savings
Abeg bvs make una nor vex, but I want to make money not only for my self and family but so I can meet a man that would respect me more.
It is obvious some men wouldn't want to marry a lady that her family problems becomes your automatically.
After all these he will still cheat. Better make money because you Wana live a good life, not cos you need a man to respect you.
DeleteLol. Some people actually do while some want the woman to depend on them. That way it’s easier to clip their wings when they misbehave. Lol
DeleteOne just finished burying his father-in-law and the guy was just lamenting that sometimes it’s good to marry into a home that the family at least achieved some things in life. That way you don't inherit both yours and the partner’s family responsibilities
Zamani, not all men. Some of them would rather continue struggling to take care of their homes at their own selfish pace, rather than allow their wives that financial independence. They feel unnecessarily intimidated & jealous. It happened to my sister & not as if the husband shouldered his responsibilities. All he did was to close all avenues that my sister could make money . The story no be here abegi. Congrats to this cute couple.
DeleteNo real man respect a woman just because of money except the lazy or stingy ones because it allows them the avenue to leech, they dont want to do much but want to get so much; that is why they are women who are still cheated on/abused despite having money/good jobs, some men even spend the money of independent women on side chicks! some men have even left rich women for lesser ones! I do believe a woman should try and hold her own but most importantly for your personal reasons and comfort not for the respect of a man. Infact be very afraid of a man who is wowed by your money/achievements especially when he is not even successful in his own right and can’t contribute anything tangible to your life
DeleteThis your talk is only applicable to younger men. Older established men do not care about what is in the woman’s bank account, they are providers by nature and role

ReplyDeleteBeautiful people...May God bless your union.
ReplyDeleteI've noticed that most wedding guests nowadays almost outshines the bride.
Wedding guests in those days were simply dressed compared to now. One could easily identify family from friends and bride but now, if you attend a wedding without being invited, you could mistake the guest for the bride.
I love love
ReplyDeletebeautiful people. Congrats
