DeleteYep. Regina is living her best hypergamous life. I'm 28 and my friends think I am crazy cus i really wanna marry 40 and above year old man. I think the older the better cus men always looking for something younger to marry, date etc. so they feel lucky and young when you are way younger. At 40 and up even 50 men's games are less, because looks are decreasing and reality of their morality is starting to set in . DeleteRegina's life is a hypergamous woman's wet dream. As for Simi, no offense I love her and Adekunle Gold but they remind me of the kind of "build up and struggle with a man" narratives that my Yoruba parents try to teach me. I think it is a Yoruba thing cus the very first yoruba guy I dated was the first guy to ask to borrow money from me shamelessly. The one day I declined all hell broke loose. It was like it was his own money. he believed that women should suffer with him in some kind of fukd up test of loyalty (that he could not even reciprocate btw). Let us even leave aside expensive gifts i used to get him for his bday.. ...,I obviously disagreed and that's why he's an ex today.
DeleteAfter that ordeal with him, I learned alot about men and how hypergamy is the natural way to go for women to refrain from burning themselves out and end up investing so much in a man that leaves for his ideal spec after using ex wife to level up. Stop going 50/50 with men and start marrying men that can provide at least 80% of the funds, bills, rent upkeep as the head of the house that he wants to be called. Man of the house should not just be by mouth alone. you wanna be respected as the man of the house, then walk the walk not just talk the talk. Alot of women fall into the trap of going half even when the man earns 3 times more and the women still have to come back from work, cook, clean , segz, care for baby ALL ALONE. It is madness and no wonder many nigerian wives are leaving their marriages completely drained.
@Perxian's comment about Simi. that's what happens when you're a 50/50 woman or a "bob the builder" type of lady. Love her and AG though. Still remember those days that he used to deny being in a relationship :} but I am sure everything is good now

I myself loved that type of thing when i was young and naive but hey I guess it worked for Simi. not all that try that way will be lucky. And I guess not every woman wants to be a trophy wife. some want equal equal but they need to get ready for any surprising effects of such an arrangment. ijs

And she would go to work and come back and straight to the kitchen to cook even wash all the dishes left behind when she was not at home. Some men dont even know how to wash their boxers even the woman had being turned to an handy woman at home. And when they go on holiday hubby ask for her side of the money . She even sort out the kids home work and school runs. Wicked..
