A Facebook user claims there are coronavirus cases in Enugu state but the Authorities are not doing anything about it and have not made any move to secure lives when the virus hits home.........

If you are in Enugu and know this for a fact, please use your social media handle to bring this to the attention of whom it may concern.....or you drag them until they make a move!!!

  1. This sounds to me like an (opposition) political article.
I called home (Enugu state) and was told that in three days time, they will
    be limiting movement.

    1. You seem to be an e-minion of the government in power in Enugu. So this is your contribution to what is going on? A lady battling for her life and y'all want to play APC/PDP while her family goes through anguish? Let this virus sweep the streets of people who will because of human idols and the chicken change they pay for sorry jobs, sacrifice their own mother.

  3. You think this virus has not entered kano, katsina, jigawa, sokoto, gombe, borno, kebbi, zamfara etc??? Something that has entered Abuja and kaduna will not enter all this states??? This country is a scam.

    2. So far, Nigeria has tested less than 300 and Germany tests 500 thousand per week. They said there was no money for labs before but now, they are now converting abandoned project and equipping 3 in the next three weeks. Every government in Nigeria since 1966 has been a scam. That people even pick one or the other to support is rather shameful. Expect the domestic staff if these big men to take it into every nook and cranny. Expect thousands of people to be dropping like flies and by the minute. Those being treated now are actually the lucky ones. They have escaped the SURGE.

  4. I'm based in Enugu state, schools and offices have been shut down for close to a week now. Social gatherings have been banned, though I heard some churches still opened yesterday. Movement into and from the state is been sanctioned, markets and street stores would cease to open from 6pm on Tuesday. Busses have been mobilized with speakers telling people the dangers on being infected by the virus and how to prevent it. In my opinion he govt is trying.

  5. The issue is that like in Burundi as in many parts of Nigeria, even where cases are prevalent, little or no testing is going on. Each state at least should have a testing center and measures put in place so that those found positive are immediately quarantined and contact tracing commences.

  6. Also, I would advocate that the whole nation should be totally shut down for 2 weeks to contain the spread. Because the rate of unawareness and mingling of people is very high still. Only very few are washing hands, using masks and maintaining distance. Some still don't believe it exists. Once this thing spreads, I shudder to think of the consequences.

  9. The case in PH is senator's girlfriend. Did they document the driver who drove her from Abuja? Or the orderly in the car with her or the senator himself?
