OMG....
ReplyDeleteO Lord help us. I was still happy that at least it has not been recorded in Ibadan yet and now reading that they stayed in Ibadan for two weeks is doing me somehow.. It is well, faith over fear. Even as we take all the preventive measure, let's not forget to put our trust in God to keep us safe. The horse is prepared against the day of battle but safety is of the Lord.
DeleteHere in Canada, everything is on stand still.
DeleteThe only silver lining in this dark cloud is the fact that children are surprisingly immune to the virus.
About 0.2 % of infected population are children , and then only a small fraction were sick enough to be admitted in the ICU.... All made full recovery.
Although children can be carriers and transmit to other vulnerable people. Up till date, there has been no case of pediatric fatality even in severely affected places like Wuhan and Italy.
Special note: the virus is quite severe in the elderly, those that are immunocompromised (weak immunity) e.g HIV and auntoimmune diseases, and those that have underlying diseases e.g. diabetes, cancer.
We owe ourselves and the vulnerable people in Nigeria the responsibility to stay safe, wash your hands as much as you can and longer than 20 seconds, prevent social gatherings more than 50 people, practice social distancing (I know this can be hard in bustling cities like Lagos). Stay home if you can and work remotely (e.g. online). Eat fruits and vegetables, and don't panic.
Stay safe!!!!!
SDK's love child
Lord, please keep us safe.
ReplyDeleteAn American flew into the country and died of it's complications? When? Was it reported? I mean the death of the American.
ReplyDelete*scoffs*.. You see that country ehn.. Mtchewww.
DeleteAnd we are just finding out. What about all the other people the man infected. Hei God
DeleteThis is getting serious. If the result of the American is inconclusive, how do they know the infected person got it from him? A woman and her baby also confirmed positive from the news headlines this morning. God please have mercy on us.
ReplyDeleteDead body, it is like doing orthopsy, don't mind my grammar
DeleteSee the way they posted the man's full name. Why didnt they post the name of the "Italian" that brought it some weeks ago? They protect the identities of foreigners but expose our own. Stupid people.
ReplyDeleteI wonder o. May God please have mercy on us
DeleteI can only see the Minister and Governor's name
DeleteBuhari blocked borders for rice but now that all international flights should be put on hold or thoroughly checked, they won't do that it's until the person has made contact with a lot of people from the airport to wherever they're going then they'll start taking yeye precautionary measures. We still dey look.
ReplyDeleteThey are waiting for their loved ones to return
DeleteThey want to ensure all their kids come to the country before the close the borders..self centred people
DeleteThe American that died, the doctors and nurses that treated him.. Ahhhhhh. Mogbe ooo.
ReplyDeleteInconclusive ke, it's during election I hear of this term o. Oluwa saanu. The figures of the infected way much than reported then.
ReplyDeleteDon't mind them they use politics to play with everything..
DeletePropaganda has really entered to create panic. Just play safe and remain calm
ReplyDeleteStayed in ibadan for two weeks ke.E don happen.God have mercy oooo
ReplyDeleteEvery state will start declaring false cases of victims due to the funds to be realized through WHO.....Nigeria full of jokers.

ReplyDeleteA popular daddy GO said that the virus will go away on 27th but still the virus is still spreading like a wildfire. Hmmm
ReplyDeletePlease live daddy Go out of your miserable life.
DeleteMore people are affected than the number they're giving. May God help us all.
ReplyDeleteStay Calm. The Treatment Protocok that is working in S Korea is malaria medicine and Nigeria has it. American rich have cleared 5 million available hydroxychloquibe since Monday but because of what I do and my zip code which gave me info from $millionaires, I got it for all my family and friends before 12pm on Monday when it disappeared. Send chloroquine to your loved ones for once since it’s always I need, I want that we get from Nigeria. Chloroquine 500mg twice daily for 7 to 10 days, hydroxychloroquine 400mg daily for 10 days are the treatment protocols that are working and were based on tests of thousands of existing meds as vaccine development will take 18 months! Americans aren’t waiting for the politicized CDC and the research S Korea and China based their protocol on was initially conducted by Stanford and CDC researchers who sometimes combine chloroquine to HIV treatment. Trust this post. I don’t comment but I have called every Nigerian physician and pharmacist I know here as soon as my rich patient got me the doc. It’s usually minorities that suffer most so I made sure to spread the word before the scarcity. We currently have no leadership in the US so the rich are bringing researches out of the woodworks. ReplyDeleteWhat about for children & infants?
DeleteIf the government had closed the airspace right from the 1st case, this wouldn't have happened.
ReplyDeleteDem swear for this country with sluggish govt?
