Deposed Emir Lamido Sanusi's Library Worth N200 Million Evacuated

The library of the deposed Emir of Kano, Lamido Sanusi Lamido that has over 40, 000 books including catalogued journals and worth N200 million has been evacuated.

Mujtaba Abba , private principal secretary to the dethroned Emir who was very concerned about his books said ......

"His Highness’ greatest concern was the fate of his books, so my sister and I stayed behind to ensure that we evacuated all the books. It took us sleepless nights to accomplish the task in two days, I made most of the transactions for the purchase of the books, and I can tell you, in conservative estimate, they’re worth over N200m."

  1. Removing or deposing a Traditional Leader or Ruler, isn’t a problem. But, the way they went about this was wrong. There’s no way they can justify their actions. Why banish him? Why separate him from his family? These people who act like Demi gods when they are in power forget they will not be there forever. Posterity will Judge all these fools without a conscience.
People who are well read like Sanusi, should have no business accepting such positions. Let them stay in their archaic age.

    1. He has his own management to handle such task.

They can only dethroned him but can't take his property from him.

    1. The Palace is definitely a 'no enlightenment' zone. I mean, how dare Sanusi try to liberate his people? How dare he try to make them see the light? Is it because he is an Emir? Then they planned in their hearts to dethrone him. And having dethroned him, they are not still satisfied.

They are so vengeful, they would rather see him fall and fail and grovel before them.

But God will come through. The glory shall be restored and it shall be greater than the former. It shall happen and it shall not tarry. Be of good cheers SLS.

  11. I spent a small fortune shipping my books to Nigeria when I relocated to Nigeria. I had to leave over 100 behind even. I was worried about this library too

  12. Wish the public libraries for many of Naijas youths and even those in universities had this type of books/resources to boast about; yet, an individual, one man can boast about over 200 million naira worth library; same with Obasanjo and other kleptomaniacs too numerous to list. What's wrong with this picture?

  13. If we have a Sanusi and a Peter Obi for 2023, won't we be the better for it?
