The deceased, one of his Executive Assistants, died on Monday in Warri.
Itihwe, the EA on Political Matters, is Okowa’s third aide to pass away within one week.
The governor, in another condolence message on Tuesday by his Chief Press Secretary, Olisa Ifeajika, described the death of Itihwe, as “sad and painful’’.
He said Itihwe, was a Commissioner on the Board of Delta State Oil-Producing Area Development Commission (DESOPADEC), representing Ughelli South, Udu, Uvwie and Urhobos of Warri South.
The governor called him an asset to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and one of the greatest contributors to its winning streaks in Ughelli South.

When you tell them not to become a governor’s aide, they will not listen. Forgetting that when governor no see sacrifice bring, na to use the next individual available. May God deliver us from the hands of evil. My heart goes to his beloved wife and kids. I don’t know them o but this is sad and painful. The worst part is that it is happening in Nigeria were nobody tries to investigate what really lead to his death.
ReplyDeleteDid all 3 use the same office space? Perhaps Carbon monoxide poisoning? Asbestos?

ReplyDeleteThat doesnt sound good to me at all, it can’t just be a mere coincidence that all of them died within few days, serious investigations should be carried out immediately
