Chinese Restaurant Closed For Declining To Render Services To Nigerians
The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission has closed down a Chinese restaurant in the island area of Lagos state after a customer called them out on Instagram and the commission also confirmed through surveillance that Nigerians could not sit and eat in the restaurant except they order takeouts.

They think they are lower than white but higher than blacks. I live in California where it’s mostly Chinese here. Nobody is going to their restaurants, their markets, their shops even their clinics. People are even running away from them because they have the worst hygiene. I can’t imagine stepping foot into a Chinese restaurant but I’m glad those girls in Abuja went there and exposed them. Saddened how other Nigerians were calling the girls liars at first. Management themselves even admitted they did not want Nigerians eating there.

ReplyDeleteIn Nigeria? Here in US, refusing services based on race is illegal because of the equal protection clause in the 14th amendment. Don’t know if a business would be shut down but they would definitely be sued by the federal government. There was a black girl here who was offered a job in a restaurant. The white manager hired her with no problem but the Arab owner fired her because he didn’t want blacks working in his restaurant. He was sued by the government and had to pay her big. Private or not, you cannot violate federal guidelines in any establishment.
