An igbo adage says that people stand in the compound of the coward and point to the abandoned compound of the Brave.
Las las death is inevitable to all mankind it is what we do in life that posterity remembers. The girls she saved will forever remember and cherish her memories.

  4. This woman proved herself to be a leader and a mother.

Reverend sisters are so reverend by Catholics that if she had decided that she hadbsaved a sizable fraction and given up, no one would question her. In fact, I'm sure she may have been restrained from doing the rescuing herself. She would have been told to leave it to the gatemen and other staff but look at a woman with the heart of Christ- of service, sacrifice and love!

May you rest in peace.๐Ÿ™ There is no greater love than to give one's life to save others.

  15. There is NO LOVE greater than this, than for a man to give his life for not his friends, but someone else. This is what it means to be Christ-like. Above any preaching, above any sacrifice you can ever make. This is Christianity in action, no noise, no shouting. This is what saints are made of. What many parents won't even do for their children. In this selfish world, when people are trying to OWN the world, to GRAB the world. The society says to have kids so they can take care of you in old age. No, let us have kids so we can give our lives for them. If we love them, we should build good schools and hospitals for them, take them off the streets. The society will laugh at the unmarried and the barren. Who will care for you when old? But here, see TWO people in this category giving their lives for children who are not theirs. What selflessness. God bless her and the italian Priest that died after he gave out his respirator to a child. Bless your soul, Friar Don Giuseppe Berardelli, Bless your soul, Sr. Henrietta Alokha. You faced danger when people will run to save their own lives. May the children you saved learn this bravery. You saw them as worth saving, same thing Christ did for us. Ode to your names and your memories. Ode to your kind hearts and faithful souls. I salute you
