The inferno which started at about 12:30am razed a section of the Ifesowapo, Iso-Oge Market, Eleyele area of Ibadan. The market is opposite PHCN Office, Eleyele and Oyo State Water Corporation.
Mrs Abosode Rasaq an eye witness who is also a shop owner, said she received a call at about 1am and quickly got there with other shop owners and sympathizers. She said the Fire Service got there quickly but the access road to that part of the market caused a delay. She added that she has been trading in the market for the past 25 years and lost everything in the fire.
She called for intervention from the State Government and other well meaning individuals to come to their aid.

Good. Let them go back to the village to farm
ReplyDeleteHow can you be so insensitive? Why not fold your hands and put in your pocket if you don't have anything good to say? Your own is waiting for you

ReplyDeleteHaving good infrastructure is key to so many things. Nothing in this world is guaranteed, not even the life we live. With life anything can be rebuilt. I send all those affected by the fires love and light.
ReplyDeleteI strongly believe all these herdsmen are responsible for these fires outbreak. I pray help comes through for them
