Rest in peace to those soldiers
Nigeria is becoming a country where some careers are off limits..These soldiers are experiencing PTSD Post Traumatic Stress Disorder..These soldiers should be seeing Psychologists to help them but no Nigeria we use politics to play with anything..Mehn to google about PTSD is very scary..Stella have you watched American Sniper by Bradley Cooper then you go know say no be akara...
ReplyDeleteExactly what came to my mind. The guy probably went gaga after suffering from PTSD. May God rest their souls.
DeleteStella most of these soldiers, the war has destabilized them mentally..if you know the kind of thing dey see day in day out, their brains are already messed up.the nigerian army has to look for a way to curb this mental issues and depression, mayb run routine check up on them.most of them are really depressed and mentally unstable. Its so sad
ReplyDelete๐ณ๐ณ๐ณ...he might be under the influence of drugs...Who knows
ReplyDeleteRead the first post up there and Google up on PTSD.
DeleteWhen they post soldiers and forget there for long they start having mental breakdown, some of them become unneccessary angry. My cousin has been in maiduguri for the past 7yrs,y won't he b angry? his wife has even treatened him with divorce which i know will soon happen becos he doesn't have time for them.Seven years without ur husband is not easy so i don't blame her.And also they should try and rehab them bcos most of the time, they are hunted with souls they have killed in the war front.
ReplyDeleteVery true.
DeleteA lot of them are depressed...
May the souls of the departed rest in peace
PTSD is real and I see that Nigerian government have not put any bodies in place to tackle this issue with the people that put themselves inline for our safety.
ReplyDeleteOk
ReplyDeleteRIP to the dead
ReplyDeleteIt's easy to slide into mental depression when all u see are gory human remains, gores on ur friends, decapitated humans, baby limbs torn apart, etc. Some of these soldiers are left there for far too long hence developing PTSD. It's horrible esp after suffering that much, the govt goes ahead to release those that performed the wicked acts. We need God more and the change of govt, bubu has failed woefully.
ReplyDeleteExactly! Releasing them and making their efforts seem unnecessary and wasted.
DeleteThe height of Nigeria Government wickedness is releasing those terrorists and trying to absorb them back into the army. RIP to the departed ones
DeleteWhat supreme price? Is this what they signed up for? To be killed by a colleague?
ReplyDeleteReason why advanced scountries have the V.A. (Veteran Academy) where soldiers go for rehabilitation. The Nigerian government doesn't give a fuck about the wellness of it's subordinates.
ReplyDeleteVeterans Administration please.
DeleteVeterans Administration please.
DeleteHow are you sure he is not one of the so called repentant boko haram members that are recruited by the military as a soldier
ReplyDeleteBad bad news everyday in Nigeria
ReplyDeleteGod have mercy.
Nawah oh...
ReplyDeleteThe public should know if the shooter is from the so called repentant ex boko haram
ReplyDeletePTSD, drugs or God knows what else. a lot going on with them out in the battle field and sadly no system in place to deal with some of their issues.
ReplyDeleteOur service men do suffer PTSD as well. A special ministry should be created and dedicated to the health and welfare or our service men and veterans
ReplyDeleteMay God have mercy o.Chai Rip warriors
ReplyDeleteWhen you don't place value on profession like psychology, sociology, theatre, etc, you have issues like this.
ReplyDeletePtsd at work here, hubby suffered it, I suffered it too!
This is very horrible.
ReplyDeleteThis is what you get when you have repentant terrorist recruited into the army.
