Just stumbled on this comment above on spontaneous post few minutes ago and I relate perfectly well with it. Few days ago I have been away online, for my mom was sick. I skipped work to be around her and I have spent a huge sum of money on medication and became handicapped.
Few persons I reached out to only listened to my story but couldn't help financially to upset the bills. I felt ashamed approaching them in the first place.
Pray never to have a problem you will need the assistance of others, for at such moment you will know you are on your own. Some may not have to give and going through their own challenges of life, while the ones who have, may decide not to give out as well.
In all, nobody owes you anything. Always bear this in mind.
May God come through for you and heal your mum. Sorry.

DeleteI'm married..3yrs ago tins were very rough for me and family..hubby lost his job.so an ex came into my town of residence and called me.i met with him in his hotel room.i was desperate cos dat very day my kids don't even have food to eat.we gbensh and he gave me money.
I went home and cried to God..I was sorry for wat I did.i asked for forgiveness and never went back again.whenever he called I'll give him one excuse and he stopped calling.
Fastforward he called,I picked thinking he was going to tell me d usual"I'm in town,can we meet" rather he told me he had encountered Christ apologise for taking advantage of me. I said he's forgiven,dat I've moved on.he said he want me to give him my address cos he needs to se my hubby and ask for forgiveness,he's on restitution whatever.ha Stella I told him there's no need for dat o but he insisted.i cut d call.he has been calling but I ignored him.pls what kind of tin is dis,does he want to break my home.he said I shouldn't come BTW him and his heaven.

Like it's said on this blog, you dodged a bullet. Run and very fast. I wonder why ladies cook with their money and wash clothes ( plus bed spread) all for the guy to "accept" them or to show they are in love. Or is that one of the packages a man gets dating a working lady?
Whether you cook or not, wash his clothes or not, he does not want you, you can not change it. Infact, if he wants you as a wife after cooking and washing will be from a place of pity.

DeleteThe woman I helped stay in her shop last week, I must say I'm in awe of one aspect of her life. Its amazing really.
ReplyDeleteSo she has 5 kids, all of them born and brought up here, only one has ever visited Nigeria. The ages should range from 10years to 2years (from eldest to youngest).
The most amazing thing about this is that they all speak Igbo, every single one of them. Even the little boy. They don't even speak it like anyhow, they actually speak it with the igbo accent and still speak the foreign language. Their language is poor tho.
In shock, I asked her how she did it and she was like it was just simple. She and her husband speak igbo to them all the time, no other language even though they speak the foreign language excellently, they still opted to converse in igbo to their kids.
I'm seriously challenged!!!! What really is our excuse, that's for those that can actually speak their languages and their kids can't.
I may not be perfect in igbo language ehn, but I will speak it anyway I can to them. Thank God my husband agrees. We will split it this way, he will speak English to them, I will speak igbo to them and they will learn the foreign language at school.

BTW, I played a sport called padel with my husband and his friends yesterday and I think it's d best sport I've ever played and I was so good for a first timer. My body doesn't agree tho.

DeleteSo this morning I worn my valentine gift to drop off my son in his school💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽, and the compliments kept pouring in, the dress is so beautiful, looks quite expensive. Hubby bought it for me on Val's day. Indeed we have come a long way. I remember receiving Milo chocolate (that N50 sachet) as my first val gift after marriage, hubby even had to trek a distance in other to save the money to buy me that. I told him recently and he clearly has forgotten about all that😁😁. We may not have all the money we need, in fact we are still praying and hoping for that six figures salary and we may not be living in that perfect house, we still dey remove center table for parlor to accommodate visitors😂😂😂😂, but I want to say Lord I'm grateful. I don't know what tomorrow have in store for me but I know that Gods plans towards me are of good and not of evil.

I still remember vividly @d age of five...how my dad came home one Valentine evening and was distributing lemon plus sweets to us including his wife and was even shouting "happy vals". Val lady you are not alone oh, this val I didn't receive any gift from anybody but I gave someone gift. I get gift from people once in a while but I do more of buying them gift than they do to me.
