The terrible incident took place last Friday while the visitor, John Pwadon was waiting for breakfast.
He was said to have grabbed a knife and stabbed little David Tarfa several times in the neck.
The father of the child, Stephen when narrating how it happened said his friend came visiting after they last saw each other five years ago. They had been friends for 10 years and he didn't think anything to it when his friend showed up and asked to spend the night.
The next morning he was with the children watching cartoon in the living room since they were on mid term break, while the wife was in the kitchen preparing breakfast.
Stephen noted it was his daughter's screams that attracted him from the room and he met his friend stabbing his son. He managed to wrestle him down but it was too late as the boy was already dead.
After the burial of the little boy on Tuesday, Sahara reporters' correspondent gathered that John had just returned to Yola from Lagos after the ban of commercial motorcycles.

Be careful with friends you’ve not seen in a long time.
ReplyDeleteYes very sensitive advice. One has to take time to learn again friends you just reconnected with after a long time.
DeleteBe careful to let friends and extended family members or even close ones that you know little about spend the night at your home.
