ReplyDeleteDoes any one of you know what it means to love genuinely & be in love???...I guess not!...The Bible says perfect love casts out all fears!...Why should you be afraid that when you kneel down to propose to your girlfriend,that she would aurautomatica take over the home???...Did you pray to God to show you the kind of person you want to marry first,before proposing??...There are no set rules to proposing,therefore,all those calling for the heads of men who kneel to propose, are all suffering from character defects-simply INSECURITY!!!
When you're are sure of whom God told you to marry(not who you feel you should marry),anyt anyt goes!...you can kneel to propose,lie on the ground to propose,sit on the chair to propose etc!...Some people didn't even have any proposal,they just went ahead & got married,& they've been happy since.
Love isn't static,but dynamic.You don't tell a person how to love his/her partner.They just need to go with the flow.
Pete Edochie is a RIGID person!...if you truly want to love a person or be in love,you have to be flexible,not rigid!...
I believe Pete got married at a time where it was unnecessary for a man to verbalize his love for a woman,let alone propose to her.I think he didn't even propose to his wife,but just went & married her.There's a big difference b/w his own time & ours!...what worked for Pete in the past,might not work for an average girl now!...I don't think there's any sane girl who would marry a man right now,who hasn't even used his mouth to tell her "I love you",not even once!,not even if he does the right things at the right time.
