Chelsea Manager, Frank Lampard, is planning a summer clear-out at the club with eight players lined up for the exit .....
Kepa Arrizabalaga, who has failed to impress this season and recently lost his starting place to Willy Caballero, is among those Lampard wants to move on so he can bring in his own reinforcements.
Midfield pair Ross Barkley and Jorginho may also be axed alongside left-backs Marcos Alonso and Emerson, while Kurt Zouma, Willian and Pedro will be assessed between now and the end of the campaign.
This comes after Lampard watched his side crash to a 3-0 Champions League last-16 first-leg defeat at home to Bayern Munich, while they also sit fourth in the Premier League.
The heavy loss merely emphasised what Lampard already knew - that the squad he inherited requires significant surgery in order to return to the top level and challenge for trophies.from the Sun...
I like you Lampard and I'm your fan but your decision to keep benching Olivier Giroud is not making any sense at all.

ReplyDeleteCFC had the chance to sign players in January but failed, it's difficult expecting these players to perform above their limits, I hope they make top 4 but the inconsistency and lack if signings by smythe management might cost them
Like seriously? You didn't know they are on transfer ban till end of the season
