DeleteI know the 2 of them especially the man who is close to my Family.. very very handsome and kindhearted eSpecially his love for his family was unequalled. He set out to Canada in search of a better life when his business and work went down, he left but we always thought the wife was crazy about her husband because she was always talking about her husband her husband everywhere and anytime she speaks. This is a Blow to us all, a big Blow and we wouldn't have believed it if the Embassy did not state the hospital the Embassy uses for the DNA, we even requested for a other DNA and that was even worse because ttust Nigerians to say it all out without a carr because the embassy just said No they are not your kids based on DNA but the second hospital tabled it all, they showed that the 3 kids were even of different fathers, I have never been so shocked in all my life, I live in the UK and I never knew DNA is not suggested immediately after delivery. Well, I wonder why she dis this and not even a single lover but different men. This is confusing and shattering and he has in invested so much on these kids, soooo much, where so I start from? They go to the beat schools, I would have written the name but No, she wore the best clothes, shoes, bags, lived in a beautiful personal home, I'm confused and I hope he and his family heals, family I mean parents siblings, relatives and close friends and she too will look for the men to give the kids or get child support from them.. whatever! This is a Tragedy and nightmare no human should ever experience but he is lucky to be alive and seen it so that he can rewrite his will in Canada. I thank GOD for DNA

Nobody can tell what they can do in the face of betrayal. If it has never happened to you, you just wouldn't know. People are wired differently. I would not blame the man at all. When it happened to me, all I was thinking of was rat poisoning. It's only God that can take control at that point. Thank God this did not lead to death. He does not deserve to go to prison.

DeleteDid you read what you typed?? You think the test was performed by a quack Doctor?? They asked my mom and l, to take a DNA test. My mom submitted her sample in Lagos and it was mailed to the US. I did mine in the same place.
DeleteThis is all shades of wrong. It happened to my Cousin too. A child he took care of for 18 years. If not for the Embassy, he would not have known. It happens a lot. Look at all the women buying babies from baby factories. Years down the road, that’s how they will get beaten up. There’s no shame in legal adoption. You file all your paperwork and be good to go.

If you don’t want your family disrupted then don’t pin another man’s child or children as the case may be on your husband. That’s deceit of the highest level and a crime on its own. Besides embassies need to verify because you stated that you are filing for your biological children and if you are benevolent enough to file for other people’s children then you can as well state it and make it clear. At least they have provisions for people sponsoring other people’s children.

DeleteThe deceit is common. Most often, the first child is the one that is not biologically the man's because of the demand some men and their families make for a woman to take in before marriage or marriages as a result of the lady suddenly taking in.
Fornication is wrong o. Abstinence is key. But if your significant other gets pregnant because you reject the right advice, wait until the child is born and do DNA test before marriage.
I also like what some churches do, demand a pregnancy test be done before marriage. That would save an innocent man who's practicing abstinence from fathering another person's child.

ReplyDeleteThe test is carried by the embassy and sample sent abroad. It usually 100 percent correct. The embassy will not get it wrong as that is a major lawsuit

I also refuse to seat in judgment over her. DeleteSome people use egg donor Or sperm donor for ivf depending on who has the problem. So what happens in this situation ? Will they have to bring receipts or hospital documents ? Nawa .. infertility sucks ..

Whether this story us true or not, I already let my wife know I'd carry out DNA on our kids. I ve suffered too much in life to now find out at old age, that I am not the biological source of kids I'd love to a fault. As someone wrote up there, "Trust but verify".
