ReplyDeleteChei. I am sorry for your loss. Please, hang in there Mamatriplet.
DeleteTake heart and be strong. Death is part of the circle of life. She is gone and not coming back no matter how you cry. Take time to mourn her, then 'snap' out of the pain and keep running your race knowing one day, you'll meet again. Be strong and let God comfort you as a mother comforts her sucking child, amen.
DeleteSo sorry for your loss.
DeleteSorry about your mom dear, be consoled that she is in a better place place

DeleteI had a yummy breakfast of akara made from wateryam with custard mixed with plenty milk.
ReplyDeleteAkara made from water yam? Interesting! Food dey o
DeleteThat's called ojojo, not akara.
DeletePaP only for now
ReplyDeletePls ma, how do you prepare your stew. Help a sister biko. My hubby doesn't enjoy mine. Thanks
ReplyDeleteBlend tomato and pepper with plenty onions, pour into a sieve to drain. Then fry till the water dries. You will know the water is dry when the oil starts floating ontop the tomato. Add your seasoning and salt to taste. Add your meat stock and allow to boil for a while and you are good to go. Pls avoid using too many different seasoning at once and make sure you stir to avoid burning. Goodluck
DeleteI always learn something new from this column. This recipe just gave me ideas on how to cook akidi. I'm used to green tender akidi cooked in the pod. This dry thing they call akidi came my way via marriage and i'm confused on how to go about cooking it. But I just learnt how I could. Big thanks to Stella and whoever handles this segment.
