Its about how I got to know you Stella and how I became addicted to your blog. Don't know if someone can learn one or two things from it.
I got to hear about you when you had a beef with one other blogger (names withheld).
I used to visit that blog then and I heard so many stories about you(kind of bullying story).
One day I decided that I wanted to even know who this Stella dimoko is,let me see her face. And then I googled her, when I saw the face, I felt" kai her face looks strong, she must be a very wicked person, she's not looking as cool as the other person, she must be troublesome "
Latter I decided " let even check that her blog self and see the stuffs she has there. I googled your blog Stella that was the end, I fell in love immediately, even with just seeing little stuff and then when I began to follow and I saw the real person you are,OMG, I fell and since then no going back. I wouldn't lie to you, I have nothing to gain from lying.
Since that time till date I never find the pleasure in visiting the other blog,it became boring to me,its over a year now and have been stocked to your blog.
This incident taught me 2 great lessons that has been guiding me, it has changed my orientation about people and it has helped my judgement and relationship with people.
*there's more to people than what meets the eye
*don't judge a book by its cover , I got the real meaning of this saying
Don't relate with people based on what you hear about them.
I was just reminiscing and just thought "wao! Its been years on SDK and each day comes with a lesson, experience and what have you.

So I took out time to watch Tyler Perry's 'A Fall From Grace' and I realized that three of his movies which I have seen had similar patterns; women who lost out after giving their all in the quest for true love. From 'The Temptation', to 'Acrimony' and now this.
ReplyDeleteHow can someone be said to be exceptionally good and creative, yet there's nothing excitingly new and intriguing about his movies?
I noticed one major flaw in this movie, when Grace visited the art gallery, it was as if the artist was literally waiting for her to show up to woo her. It lacked fervour and originality.
Close to the end, the movie took a new turn and compensated for the wasted time initially.
He should move away from this film making stereotype and create something new and worthwhile.
For me, It was overhyped.
You are right about Tyler Perry's movies.I guess his 'creativity' is in the plot and not the theme.

A fall from grace was nicely done and the cast was incredible.
