He will have mercy on those He choses to have mercy on. I'm not saying sin is not punishable but I'm saying no one is assistant Jesus to tell the other to stop fasting just because they sin differently. We are all sinners and it's mercy that's speaking for us. Allow people to go to God just as they are, we should not judge them and push them away, it is God who works on all of us and He can change the most sinful.
