  4. Pregnancy is always a blessing no matter how you struggle to accept the reality initially.

  5. When the foundation of your career is not wobbly, it would be hard for any other steps that you decide to take, especially one of getting married and becoming a parent, to affect or slow down your career.

    Such a cutie 🥰🥰🥰🥰

  17. Just what I am pondering on right now. I got a dream job January last year and I am pregnant now, due in June.
I really wonder how my supervisor would take it.

I know I am entitled to Maternity leave as I passed probabtion in September. Yet I still worry every day how my Oyibo bosses will feel when I leave.

Did I mention they recruited two of us ladies on the same day but we work in different field locations. The other lady is pregnant too, also due in June!I have been devastated since I found out.

My field is a tough career path for women and I don't want them to regret hiring us.

    It is well!

    2. Na belle you carry, you no kill person. Ask for great health and a smooth pregnancy so you can be very efficient until delivery day. That way they see you as valuable.

  19. I feel you Ruth.
I was in the same state in 2018
Guess what, my resumption from maternity leave was welcome with a promotion. Again my boss insisted on filling my old role with another lady because of the impact I made.God has a way of compensating us regardless.
