Vice President Osinbajo Commissions Hotel Locked Down For 8 Years By Former Gov Amosun Administration....

The Vice President Prof Yemi Osinbajo has commissioned a new hotel built by the former governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, eight years after it was locked down by the Ibikunle Amosun administration.

In attendance were former governor of Ogun State, Chief Olusegun Osoba, Governor Dapo Abiodun and his wife Bamidele Abiodun, the deputy Governor, Noimot Salako-Oyedele and Daniel’s age-mates in Ijebuland’s Egbe Bobakeye.

Other dignitaries present include Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, former Ogun deputy-governor Salmot Badru, Erelu Abiola Dosunmu, traditional Rulers, archbishops and many more.

The completion of the Conference Hotel and Suites was delayed for eight years by the Amosun administration, who also snubbed court orders to vacate stoppage of work at the site.

  3. The establishment of the hotel is going to create more jobs for the unemployed. Power corrupts, absolute power corrupt absolutely. Ibikunle Amosun should know that there is time for everything.

    1. I keep insisting that when you know nothing about something, speak nothing or simply ask something. The owner of the hotel is former governor of Ogun State, Gbenga Daniel. This former governor sold government properties to private individuals whom were his friends and associates. Have you heard of a governor selling Public Schools to privates imstead of improvimg public schools and promoting free education? That is what Gbenga Daniel did. This same Gbenga Daniel also sold Ogun State's hotel which was formerly known as GATEWAY HOTEL and everything in it from the plasma televisions, washing machines, sculptures, wardeobes etc to his fellow politicians just when he was about to leave office. All the employees of the hotel were rendered jobless without any form of payment or compensation. I thank God my mom quit her job there to focus on her business before it was sold. All her colleagues there whom had been working there for more than fifteen years were all jobless, no compensation or pension. Now this BV Natasha is here saying the establishment of this private hotel will create more job for the unemployed. Gbenga Daniel was investigated by EFCC but as soon as he joined APC, all court cases are now pending. It is now the Vice President of Mr. Change that is coming to commission hotel built with public loots

  5. Mtscheew. Politricking of life, this hotel is close to Obasanjo's hotel. Of what use is conference hotel to the average Nigerian? Have they finished utilizing the ones in Ijebu ode and Sagamu? Kmttt

  6. Nigerian political office holders wield power as if they will be in power forever. After closing the hotel for eight years in defiance of court orders did Amosun not eventually leave office and was the hotel not eventually opened. Nigerian political history is replete with countless instances of the ultimate futility and failure of political high-handedness, yet you see new appointees failing to learn and ending up making the same mistakes.
