..I saw a comment where someone dropped that my new PA was slow,inactive and boring......That is exactly how i want her to be...........She is unavailable to make friends with anyone and will face her business squarely....As for being slow,she has just been on the Job for a week and with time she will pick up..Please let her concentrate and stop comparing abeg...

Bbjac, you need to know how to cook it properly. There are different quality of the Nigerian Rice in the market, try go for a better quality.

ReplyDeleteIn my home, I handle a huge pile of laundry by sorting it out first. This helps it become less intimidating and more manageable. With a large family of eight, our clean laundry can look like a mountain. So I’ve learned what works for me is separating each individuals’ clothes into their own pile. Then I distribute. I take what’s mine and give them theirs.
This also applies to when I face situations that seem difficult to deal with in life. Things become more manageable when I take the time to sort my emotions first. I try to look at things objectively and divide my feelings from reality and separate the responsibility that belongs to me from what belongs to someone else. Once I sort things out, I can own what’s mine and let the other person hopefully own what’s theirs.
My sister, when you face a big problem in your life, with God’s help, you can manage it. It doesn’t have to overwhelm or intimidate you. Here’s some wisdom. Don’t respond right away. Sort your emotions. Separate how you feel from reality. Own what’s yours and recognize what belongs to the other person. I speak over you that you will learn to better manage problems when they arise in your life. You will take a moment to sort things out first.
Prayer: Father, only you know the situations I am facing. You know how big they can seem. But I know nothing’s too hard for you. Help me manage life’s challenges. I missed the post of unannounced visitors yday but this is my story.
ReplyDeleteIn 2018 when I was still very single, working and living alone in a one bed flat. I had a friend a guy, we were just friends nothing else but we hardly see prob once a year if one of us have a party or speak on the phone once in 2 months but we were still good friend that i can call him anytime to talk or gist. He has helped me before and i have also helped him.
So one day in March 2018 on a Monday I was at work he now sent me a message that am i around I said no I dey work o he now said he will like to visit me after work i said ok. So after work like 7pm he called that he dey motor park I should come pick him up. Went to pick him up. When i got there he was carrying a suitcase and another big bag. I was so surprised. Anyway on the way home i now ask him where is he going with those bags he now said oh he just got a job in my state and wants to come and stay with me mon to fri and will go back to his state friday to come back sunday night HIAN!!!! I was just speechless.
I let him stay for 2 months with this routine and settle in with his job well, which was a well paying job and even a week after he came i had to travel and told him i wont be leaving him alone in my house and for a week that i was away he booked an hotel and stayed, then after 2months i had to say my sister has a job in my town and she is moving to stay with me that he has to find his own way now.
Tbh i didn't mind he stayed but the fact is that he came unannounced to my house this only showed me he doesn't respect me and i am nothing in his eyes and those times pant dey reign i was scared for my pants o. didn't even sit to think oh this babe may be in a serious relationship what if her man came by. To me i also felt he thought my story wouldn't change and that it will remain that way of single and alone with disappointments because he knew about it as i use to seek his advice a while back but stopped that anyway God changed my story in 2019.
Don't get me wrong all through his stay i never asked for rent or to pay any bills and he never offered. I cooked and he will eat and i will pack food for both of use to take to work. On 3 occasions i would say he bought ingredients and i will cook it for him. Times i would also drop him close to work then go to work late.
The main reason i wanted him to leave was the unannounced rubbish i really hate it even noone in my family can ever try it with me.
The day he left finanly he sent me a thank you and that is the last time we spoke to date. He no longer reaches out and neither do i.
Good thing is you never did him any wrong or make him feel uncomfortable. I hate it when people take advantage.
DeleteYears ago when I just finished serving, I got retained and it was a really paying job, had an aunty who fell sick, I asked my older sister to bring her over for treatment and luckily it was long vacation and my sister was a teacher then. After treatment, it was time to go, aunty said her daughter abroad said she should stay back in my house so she is not going back home and my elder sister refused. Everything I gave my sister i gave her. This woman collected but stopped talking to me three days before they left, I drove them to the park, paid transport, she didnt even look at my side.

ReplyDeleteI got a job months ago after being jobless for a year after NYSC. It's a bank job, the pay is over 200k but it's marketing which I detest.
ReplyDeleteI have gotten another job and the pay is 100k.
My reasons for liking this one is that I will actually learn on the job, take courses to improve myself and have a definite career path. But with this bank job, you get insults if you don't meet your target and I have panic attacks and also dislike any form of harassment. We basically do nothing in the office, just go out to look for money. It is boring and annoying at the same time. I feel like I am not achieving anything. I told HR I wanted something different but nothing was done.
Plus there is a 2million naira bond( I am ready to pay ).
Pls am I making a wise decision? Please advise me.
