The joy and happiness you bring to our lives, may it never depart from you.
I remembered how a year ago, I took him out to play at the children’s park and he refused to play, i was angry with him cos he insisted I take him out even when I wasn’t in the mood. So we decided to take a walk, if that was going to make him happy and of course my money will not be wasted.
As we walked in the park, we kept talking up on till a little beautiful princess saw him and called his name. He ran to meet the girl and they started running around. There I was standing and looking at them playing, opposite of me, was a tall, handsome, biracial guy with good body standing and looking at his niece playing with my nephew.
The both of us( aunt & uncle) didn’t have a choice than to say hi, hello to ourselves while we waited for the children to play. We kept pressing our phones till we were tired. The princess uncle drew closer to where I was sitting , we got talking, exchanged numbers. After a month he asked me out and we became a date. A man I can’t trade for anything in the world, mrs loading 2020.
Thanks for wishing me safe flight, I got to Nigeria safely and your goodies are here.

Years ago while standing at a church altar, I had gone up for prayer. Tears running down my face, I felt afraid. The Father was having me step out on faith and trust Him in a way I had never trusted Him before. I was totally out of my comfort zone like a baby standing for the first time. I wondered, “What if I fall?” “Can I really do this?” “Lord, help me.” And with all of these thoughts going through my mind, my Father came to my aid and encouraged me. He reminded that He had called me and He will do it. Not me…Him.
A lot of us are wondering how we are going to do the things that the Father has called us to do, but let me encourage you with the same thing He encouraged me with. It is not you that is doing anything. It is the Father. Didn’t He say, it’s not by power, nor by might, but by My spirit says the Lord? If any great victory is going to be had by you, it will be by His strength and power. If any change is going to take place in your life, it will be changed by His power. If you are going to walk the straight and narrow way, it will be by His grace and power. All He is requiring of you is you to yield to Him, trust in Him and step out on faith!
Prayer: Thank you, Father, for speaking to my heart. I desperately need your help and your words of life. I receive them in my heart. As I do my part of yielding to you and trusting in you, I know you will do your part of being my Almighty, Show-up-and-show-out, Father. In Jesus name, Amen.

Please quick question my ever knowledgeable BVs. What could be the cause of delay period. My period was supposed to come on the 29th and I'm never late. On the 23rd hubby and I were having sex and the condom broke (yes we use condom cause we are waiting for a year before we have a child). He just told me and still continued, though he did withdrawal method, but in the morning I still was not settled I had to take postinor 2, now my period is two days late which never happens, I took pregnancy test with pinstripe yesterday and it was negative. ReplyDeleteIt is not a must to go to church tonight, if you know that you will not be having ai means of returning back home. Stay back home and ring in the new year alone or with your loved ones or even with your neighbours.
If you're going out, tell your family members/your friends or even neighbour where you're going to. Tell them the person's name, the area he or she lives in and if possible, write their phone number somewhere that's visible. This is very important.
Don't argue with anyone especially when it's not necessary. Don't fight over drinks, food or money gifted you. Stay away from people who are easily triggered. Anger is a curse.
Safety is always first.

ReplyDeleteI thank the good Lord for the gift of life and good health. I thank him immensely for the gift of my family...hubby and kids and our extended family...mumsy, my sis, my brothers, MIL and SIL, they all were a blessing to me.
ReplyDelete2019 was a good year..I got pregnant with and delivered my second baby this year, if someone had told me last December that I will have another baby by December 2019, I would have laughed at the person's face. But alas, our Good is an awesome God.
Let me not start recollecting all I went through especially in the last 3 weeks of my pregnancy, in fact, labour refused to come 3 weeks after my EDD, but all praises be unto His name who delivered us.
Though we lost my FIL on the 23rd of this month, we are not deterred,God knows best. Though I wish he would have stayed to see all his grand children. He was due for retirement from civil service Jan.2021, but the good Lord decided to call him now but we re still thankful.
I'm currently in the village( my father's house). My elder brother is bringing his wife on the 4th of January, na so so cleaning I dey ooo, but it's all for the better. This my Bros is the best man any lady could wish for, I dey 'jealous' his wife sef🤣🤣😃.
My sis and her kids will be coming on the 2nd...is gonna be a FULL house. Mumsy, 4 siblings, 7 grand kids, and our new wife. My dad's soul will really be jubiliating wherever he is. May his soul and the souls of the faithful departed through His mercy rest in peace...Amen.

I am grateful I met my Mum. Cried late October thinking she will die as a result of ill health but Jehova showed up for us. God I'm grateful for a lot of things that you have done. Believing you for more you will do in 2020. Surely you are faithful.

ReplyDeleteSo I had my first baby, no stretch marks at all. Though I was applying shea butter on my tummy every morning and night from my 14th week of pregnancy till even after delivery ( I don't know if that was y I didn't spot any marks at all).
Now onto the 2nd pregnancy, still no stretch marks, did the shea butter stuff a little and stopped, for my mind I'm immune to them..hehehehe. Though my mum has none at all even after 4 pregnancies. Till date, her tummy is clear and smooth.
Towards the last 2 weeks of pregnancy, I noticed some lines on my tummy, immediately, I whipped out my shea butter and started again...the long and short part of the story is that the marks are still here though little and hardly noticed but I want them Gone.
Question now is...is there anything I can do to remove them?
I saw one strech mark remover stuff the other day in the supermarket, it's by Palmers. Has anyone here used it, does it work or is there any other better one?
