ReplyDeleteOne morning as I arrived home, a stranger walked up to me and handed me a Christmas card as I was getting out of my car. In haste, she said, “God bless you,” as she walked off. I shouted, “Thank you!” and went into the house. When I opened the card, a one hundred dollar bill fell out and tears immediately came pouring down my face. I ran outside, looking for her and couldn’t find her. She was gone. I had seen how these things happen to others, but this was the first time it had ever happened to me.
Because I knew how great that moment felt, I decided to do the same for someone else. So I put a one hundred dollar bill in the same Christmas card and gave it to a woman walking in my neighborhood. I told her, “God bless you” and walked away. The only thing was, she chased me down and thanked me with tears in her eyes. I thought to myself, “No, this is supposed to be one of those angelic-like experiences where I disappear! Don’t chase me down!” HA!
God knows exactly what you’re going through. He sees your need and He will provide for you and your family. If He has to touch a stranger’s heart, He will. And when He does come through for you, make sure you pay it forward and bless someone else. It is more blessed to give than to receive (see Acts 20:35).

4 weeks ago my mum came to visit for some days. Well one day we were discussing and she dropped the shocker that my brother has a baby, an eight months old daughter, that he just told her, that they didn’t know how to tell my dad but eventually they told him, oh well, he raised hell but had to also accept the reality. We were all perplexed but of course we had to accept the reality of it. I later saw the baby’s picture because one of my younger sisters went last week Sunday to visit the baby mama.
ReplyDeleteOh! What a cute little child, so beautiful, I heard my brother said he will bring the baby to my family house one of these days to formally introduce her to everyone. I didn’t even know her name, I was meaning to ask but l was not in a rush because after all there is still plenty time to get to meet her.
Oh! Yesterday she died 😭😭😢😢 the mother said it was convulsion. That she had measles and before you knew it... It hurts really bad even though I didn’t even know her, I wonder how my brother and the baby’s mother will be feeling.

DeleteOne of my sisters went to my family house where my brother stays to visit him and console him. She went with her husband and three children. They didn’t meet my brother and on their way back her 2 years old daughter who was playing while they were in the house started acting up in the car, she said she noticed that something was not right with her child and told her husband to park, they noticed that the baby was running high temperature and started pouring water on her. They drove to the hospital and that was when she called me and was crying that I should pray for her that it’s her own baby’s turn.
ReplyDeleteSee me panicking, I was so scared yesterday evening, after the bad news we heard, now this. Omo! I turned to prayer warrior calling on Jahovah Rapha. I kept saying affliction shall not arise a second time. I called on the great Lion of the tribe of Judah, the balm of Gilead.
I kept calling her but her phone was not going, I almost had high BP. After a while her phone went through and she said the hospital has stabilized the child. That was why I was able to sleep yesterday night. God I pray you will keep everyone in my family. Amen.
May God's healing hands rest permanent on every member of your family. May God console your brother's gf. Measles & convulsion are really serious paediatric sickness that requires caution. God be with you all

ReplyDeleteIt wasn't an easy breakup because there was no fight or reason to break up I had to do it just knowing it was the right thing to do. It hurt real bad but I maintained my stand and prayed hard for forgiveness and genuine repentance.
God heard me, kept him far away from me and there was no contact between us since.
Thing is I am getting married soon (in weeks), he heard about it because we have mutual friends and then he reached out to me congratulating me and wishing me well.
He has asked for a meeting(I haven't set my eyes on him since the breakup), i know him, he most likely wants to give me money for the wedding. He is that generous and before we gave in to sexual temptations we were really good friends. Even before we had any sexual thing, he is very kind, even to others around.
I know he's not going to ask for sex. He asked me to chose a meeting point (he did this because he wants me to know he has no ulterior motives)
TRUTH IS IF WE HAD NO SEXUAL RELATIONS, I AM SO SURE HE WOULD HAVE STILL GIVEN ME MONEY.
Should I still take the money? I dont want to sow a bad seed into my new home.

DeleteNo please don't meet him and don't take the money. You have moved on, please don't look back. Meeting him will break the ice between you two and if care is not taken, you will soon begin to trust and confide in him which can lead to other things.

Pls I have two questions that I want you all to help me with? I have two children, a four year old son and a two year old girl, they are always falling sick together, it’s either d boy starts first followed by d sister or the other way round, or other times both together,d woman that shared a room with us during their admission at d hospital told me it bcos they are using things together eg the same sponge, towel and also sleep together on the same bed. Plssssss I want to know if sharing things amoungst siblings can make them fall sick together, I also need a recommendation for an immune booster for children. Thanks

ReplyDeleteI managed to get an apartment after saving d whole year, I patronized a friend of mine who is into carpentry, paid him 20k up front to make kitchen cupboard, wooden hanger for.clothes and other things for d room to balance when he is done.
We ought to meet yesterday, by 8am, I went to d apartment and waited from 8am till 5pm, kept calling him but no response nor call back, sent whatsapp msgs it got delivered but he didn't reply.. This is someone that has been out of Job for a while and I decided to patronize him now see the result.. It's so painful and annoying cos I stood for hours, sat on d bare floor wen I got tired, had migraine cos I came straight from work(night shift duty, I didn't sleep ) to the apartment which is quite a distance, and up till this moment no word from him.. It's so painful cos money is hard to get these days, paying rent is one thing ,furnishing it is another task and for someone to treat you dz way is really unfair.. Let God be the Judge..
