    1. Nothing like that... We all need to stand at once
They can't arrest us all. All this fear fear is not taking us anywhere.
Let everyone talk at the same time, buhari cannot continue like this... What happens to people that have nowhere to run to.
At this point I may eventually support any group that stands up against them.

    1. Comments like this is why our leaders know they can do anything and get away with it.
Most Nigerians are so mentally defeated and scared to demand good governance.
Allow those that are not afraid to raise their voice to do so, if everyone keeps quiet and ignores things, this country will never change.

    2. @Euphoria they bitter truth is that this government does not respect law and order. If they can go inside the courtroom to re-arrest Sowore, what else do you think that can happen to any other person for saying the truth?

    4. I feel proud to know that we still have Nigerians who see where the future is taking us with a government that have no regard to the rule of law. I am a Nigerian and this must be the mindset of every Nigerian if we must get hold of our country.

This tyrant system of governance is not about Sowere rather about the rights of every Nigerian. I have my family members in Nigeria and I fear for their lives every single day. I fear for the lives of every Nigerian in the same way. The rule of law is the only weapon for the people and no branch of the government or any person(s) should be above it.

It is appalling that our representatives are wedging power more than those who voted for them. People think that some of us living outside the country is not concerned about the violations and hardship at home. The truth is that we are facing more problems that our families back home. Do you people know how much support that come from the diaspora? Let me say this, Nigeria is still a country because of the support we render to our families back home. If we don't send money home for several people in the family to eat at least I am sure that people will not be able to close their eyes in Nigeria.

It is important for people to start demanding for accountability and standing up for the rights of every Nigerians at home. Western countries are also changing their policies and this means more money will made will be spent in the host country. And this means the reduction in the degree of assistance we could render to families at home.

It is about time for us all to rise up and condemn every move to cripple the judiciary and the implementation of the rule of law. Let us look above Sowere. It should not be about him but us as citizens of Nigeria with the frame that nobody should be above the law including the president of the country.

Anyone that commits crime should face the law and serve time if convicted but the process must be guided by the rule of law. The countries we live today are guided by the same rule of law and we hold the political representatives accountable for actions that violates these rules. I hope that we think about our future and make informed decisions.

I just feel like leaving this country now.My husband had a case with the Nigerian Navy, he went to court and he won the case only for the chief of naval staff to say my husband is too small to fight him that he will never abide to the Nigeria rule of law.Just yesterday my husband was pronounced dismissed from the Navy reason dat the Chief of naval staff and a rear admiral BB Kole said the court can not decide for the navy. that d navy doesn't abide by Nigeria constitution. this country is so dead all thanks to Buhari.

    5. Dear Spicydobis, God does not hear the cry people who don't act. The masses has the power and until we realise that.....God can't do nothing. Since we believe that anything can kill a man, let us cross our legs and allow a small percentage of the population, those we empowered to represent us push against one another. Why do we need God to assist us when he has already blessed us with everything we need. How many times have you heard about a petty thief steal from the political representatives? Your guess is good as mine. They will come to people suffering like them. It is the case of a dig eating dogs in the absence of alternative food.

God is soon going to remove him and those who caused pain, hardships and death on the citizens. useless backwards, illiterate northerners who should be herding cows and being bushmen

    1. Let me type small epistle.

Disclaimer: my Muslim folks, I’ve got love for you but this epistle is not for you. Think of it as, “My sheep know my voice” kinda talk. If you’re not a Christian, waka pass my post; I’m not talking to you.

When I see people lamenting, saying why doesn’t God answer prayers and remove Buhari? Lol. Our prayers are heard by God but the consequences of our decisions will run its full course first. Y’all voted him in so enjoy.

Don’t vote in Buhari, you didn’t listen. Elders warned us, we didn’t listen. They knew he was a tyrant and a leopard can’t change its spot, but no, we wanted “change.”

I will stand by this anytime, any day: Jonathan wasn’t the greatest president ever but at least he was sane! He wasn't a psychopath. Nigeria has been looted since 19 tenwenrenwen. Jonathan’s time was no different so why the fuss? And are you saying the northerners and people in power now still aren’t still looting us blind?

I’d rather vote in a corrupt man from the same religion and with the same ideologies as mine than vote for an “upright” (who isn’t sef) man from another religion who sees the rest of us as infidels and thinks an animal better than me.

At least, my own religion man thinks like me; if he goes out of hand, I’ll submit him to “our” God in prayer for discipline. Not use my own hand to vote someone else and expect God to perform magic.

Abi have you seen a Jew vote a Nazi for president? Even in old times, did you see God use a philistine as king over Israel? The exception was when He delivered His people into their hands for discipline. But he’d turn around and save them.

Yes, we may all co-exist peacefully, but las las your person na your person. These northerners know it very well, that’s why they hold on to power and empower their own.

Call it racism or tribalism, it doesn’t change the fact that’s it’s the truth. Racism/Tribalism will exist till the world ends. Don’t hate the messenger.

  10. He’s right. I’m disappointed but not surprised at the silence of most Nigerian yeyebrities to what’s going on in our country.
If Beyoncé, or any American star decides to post a supportive message for sowore, all of them will suddenly remember we have a sad situation going on in this country. Wave riders, the bunch of them.
    That’s why I don’t know rate them.

    1. The Jonathan slogan should stop already. As a Nigerian, it is your right to demand for good governance from those who represent you. If a particular regime is not doing something right every one has the right to speak up. If a regime has one policy that affects the electorate you can not say because the regime got it right in all except people should not demand for accountability for that particular policy. I like Jonathan but it does not mean his government got everything right. The more people demand for accountability in every regime the better developed our country will become. The developed countries several Nigerians live today and many others travel to demand for a working system at any point that a policy is anti-social/people. We should be mindful of what we say hence we would all wallow in abject pernury in few years to come.
