Angelina has made headlines in Spain for his remarkable honesty.
The 35-year-old immigrant was selling tissues in his usual roadside spot on Dec. 3 when he noticed a small briefcase, left on the roof of a car, fall to the ground as the driver pulled away from the lights.
He tried flagging the driver down but failed to attract his attention. So, he took the briefcase to the local police in the hope that they could track the owner down.
It was discovered the case contained €3,150 in cash and six cheques with a total value of €13,000, as well as some documents and a cellphone.
Police traced the owner, a 42-year-old businessman from Seville, and returned his belongings.
The businessman later stopped at the traffic lights to thank the Nigerian and to give him €100 as a reward.
“It never crossed my mind to keep the contents of the briefcase,” said Mr Angelina who trained as a doctor in Nigeria (but whose qualifications are not recognized in Europe). “People say I could have kept the money and then thrown the briefcase away, but I am not like that, and God wouldn't have liked that. I am not crazy, I am a good man.”

ReplyDeleteI will NOT have returned that money!!!
DeleteSelling handkerschiefs after training to be a doctor in Nigeria. When people pray for God to bless them with a miracke, are they expecting God to come down in His Heavenly Robe to give them gifts???
That was a miracle!
Well you passed it on and received €100 instead to buy more handkerchiefs.
Sorry!
P.s Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. This is mine. So read and move on. Or state yours without any insults.
gosh!! how did they raise you like this? That wasn't a miracle girl. That is taking someone's else property.its not yours. When are we going to get it right in this country. What kind of thinking is this?God wont come down from heaven but it's tru your hard work and dedication. Not just seeing money by the roadside. That is why thieves are ruling us.It's starts from upbringing.
DeleteOLEEE! It is people like you ritualists and kidnappers use for their concoction. See mouth like miracle. OLEE!
DeleteAnon 10.26 I hope you will also agree it's a MIRACLE the day you misplace a huge sum of money (maybe your whole life savings) and the person who finds it says it is a miracle FOR THEM.
DeleteYou are a very dishonest person. Next time, leave God's name out of your deceit.
Are you still surprised how yahoo boys marry and have kids. There you have it, one of their wives. She's bold to say it, many are here that are dating, married to yahoo, ritualist, kidnappers and they will even condemn this act and comment. Those ones are the real devil. Trust me, 1 out of every 50 Nigerian know people or related to people that engage in 419 and their mindset isn't different from the commenter.SMH for this nation. Many of them are worse than Nigerian government put together.
DeleteWe are not all bad,you see;but is he answering his wife's name?
ReplyDeleteLmao🤣😂
DeleteThat was the first thing that came to my mind, a man bearing Angelina is very hilarious

Sluttychic.
English has been murdered here, where is Anon.
Delete"Very impressed" wrong
Repeat after me "So impressive"
God bless you Mr. Peter for making us proud. I am proud of you.
DeleteAnon 9.39, hope you know one can write very impressed without necessarily writing it out as I'm very impressed.
DeleteJust as I wrote "hope you know" rather than "I hope you know". 🙄
God bless you mr Peter
ReplyDeleteOh my God!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteDid you say Dr 😭😭😭😭😭😭
That was honestly the only thing I saw... a trained doctor selling kerchiefs 🙆🏽♀️
DeleteYes...and I also said his qualifications were not recognized in Spain
DeleteMaybe he graduated from IMSU♂️♂️♂️
He will be alright.
DeleteHe also needs to pass their qualification exams, to enable him practice in their country. Period
DeleteIt's well my people 😩
DeleteHahahaha emeka, are you telling us imsu is not a uni?
DeleteAngelina angelina

DeleteWow
ReplyDeleteNigerians never loose hope... our image will be redeemed soon
Did you make a mockery of imsu? Let me school you, the resident doctor that was the best in the just concluded west Africa exams is a graduate of imsu. Remember that mbbs exams are not conducted by internal examiners but lecturers from other schools. Thank you
DeleteGodbless you real good.
ReplyDeleteWow!! A tissue seller returned such an amount? He deserves a national recognition and award Biko. E no easy
ReplyDeleteVery kind of Angelina
ReplyDeleteA Doc selling handkerchief @ traffic junction. Wow! Nigerian degree follow for scam.
DeleteAnd the stingy business man gave him €100? Ah!
All in a bid to live abroad, Nigerians will do anything to survive out there. Sigh!
Delete@ shooter gal, he might still be writing board exams to enable him practice, that job might just be to keep body and soul together while he awaits his certification, most likely the case
DeleteNice one.Welldone sir
ReplyDeleteThe man rewarded him with €100 which is like N40k? Taaaaaaaaaaaa. Pple can do better
ReplyDeleteOyibo people are stingy. My former boss his ten naira change you will account for it.

Glory be to God we still have sincere people amongst us.
ReplyDeleteGod please let him see favour, i am so heartbroken by this story and the fact that he is a doctor but selling tissue papers. I pray and hope something better comes up for him by God's grace. Sometimes i wish I'm as wealthy as i have wished, 70 percent of my wealth will go to helping people but then I'm just a young lady with ambitions no money yet.
ReplyDeleteDammy B
The businessman is wicked af. How can someone return all of that and you only gave them €100 as a reward? Better he had left that man alone than disturb him with his €100.
ReplyDeleteThis man trained as Medical Doctor in Nigeria, would have done better here instead of going abroad to sale handkerchief..Colonial mentality has finished us.
ReplyDeleteThis man never talk true,he couldn't pass their exams over there abeg, if he had written n passed plab1,2, he won't be there hawking paper.
DeleteThe grass isn't always greener on the other side.
DeleteHis honesty is commendable.
@BlackBerry I talk am! 😂 E go dey alright
DeleteBlackBerry you don't have to be this ignorant. The man is still better than you...
DeleteBlackberry, plab 1 and 2 are uk licensing exams and not for spain and hope you know that he’ll have to pass at least the Spanish language proficiency exam before he can do the professional, maybe language was his barrier.
DeletePlab 1 and plab 2 is for Uk and not spain.. you think is easy ro be a foreign doc working in spain.. you have to do languagee proficiency exam .. Maybe He is doing sth about it!!..
DeleteAmazing how a Nigerian trained medical doctor turns tissue seller in Canada. Fuck Nigerians, una eyes never clear to stop these corrupt politicians.
ReplyDeleteWhere did you see Canada?
DeleteBaba needs to write and pass the qualification exams necessary for him to practice. But he may be pressed for cash and doing this in the interim
Well-done Dr Peter!
ReplyDeleteBut why leave your profession to sell paper handkerchief?
Angeli Angelinaaaaaah you dey kulu my tempera chaaaaaah. Jokes apart, he's a true angel.

ReplyDeleteHe is a very good man that will not keep the money because God will not like it but it's ok for him to claim 35 years when he looks way older; I think God won't mind the age change abi? Smt.
ReplyDeleteI think even his name is fake. How can he bear Angelina?
DeleteWe still have good people representing us... God bless him and cause is face to shine.
ReplyDeleteIts well with mr Angelina. God will make you smile with this act of honesty by fire by force.
ReplyDeleteWell-done. You will be celebrated soon. Honesty will make way for you in Jesus name.
ReplyDeleteYou will surely be rewarded by God...
ReplyDeleteBeing honest is great. Thanks for returning the money.
ReplyDeleteI believe you would have done better as a doctor in Nigeria... Or you would have gotten the necessary qualifications to enable you practice medicine in Spain.
Sometimes I wonder Sha.... Selling tissue paper in Spain... Would you have sold same in Nigeria? You might have seen it as a demeaning job if someone had asked you to do it in Nigeria? The things we do SMH
