I was watching the Video of the MClure Twins yesterday and for the first time, I found out Justin ddn't actually hith them, he adopted them (I know I'm late to the party, don't bite me). So you really mean someone left their mom when she was pregnant? I wonder how he feels now cos those girls are the sweetest humans ever. Thank God they are in America whwee proper documentations are done before one man will appear years after and start dragging you from one family meeting to another.

Please, If you are not ready for a child, pls, abstain, strap up, do anything but don't abandon when the child comes. Not all stories end good, some have caused hatred with the kids, some, an unexplainable distance etc. And also, whatever "situation" you find yourself, pls try to bring out the positivity in it. Hearing Justin's story and Amina's story, who would have thought that their family would make many people happy just by watching them?
That said, seasons greeting to everyone. Please, be careful where you go. Be security cautious both at home and outside. Watch your kids, watch where you park your car, watch who you interact with.

ReplyDeleteI saw a touching video last night. Jimi Odukoya (Pastor Bimbo's son) disguised himself as a homeless man and went to Spar. There, he begged shoppers to pay for his bread and water. Some shunned him, some were willing to pay. The latter, he paid their bills. One woman bought so many things, Jimi paid all her bills because she wanted to help him. Another lady really wanted to help but didn't have enough money, Jimi saw the genuineness in her and paid her bills.
This is the reward for kindness. This is what Christmas is all about. Giving. Showing love. Being kind.
If you can't give, at least be kind.

I remember 2015 when i was serving, I usually wait for the staff bus( my ppa) at barracks surulere.So one day, I stopped at barracks and climbed the bridge to get to the other side, there used to be one begger on the bridge he was lame( so I thought) and would sweep the bridge. So that day, I gave him 100naira. The next day, I got to barracks quite early say 6am and it was dark, I saw the beggar man who potrayed that he was lame, walking and trying to arrange the cardboard paper he would sit on to pretend lame and some other things. From that day, I made up my mind I'll never give him my money. I was so sure he was the one because he was the only beggar on the bridge.
