Goodmorning bevessss pls I need advice from those familiar with Taxify billing, should educate us if we were scam or not.
DeleteMy friend and i took Bolt and we paid 700k because it was actually a short trip, on the App it says 600 - 1000, which there was no issue, on our way back,we ordered another Taxify, for our return,the guy passed us,my friend being the agitated one called him and still begged him to come that is getting late, meanwhile the Taxify *Bolt* App kept telling me that 4mins 4mins my driver will be with me, I called again and described where we stood, not knowing the Taxify guy was just 30sec away watching us. This took about another 10mins
We entered, I told him to start the trip, we got home o o only for this guy to start putting on his phone that his phone went off, actually he ran into a pothole, with the force of break, my phone even dropped from me, maybe that time he ran into the pothole was when his phone went off.
Time to pay this guy said our bill is 2k, I was like why????? My App said 900 - 1100, he said I can see his phone that's what the bill says, I got upset a little bit and told him to explain to us why we gonna pay x3 of what we paid going to the same venue.
He said there are peak periods with Bolt and those peak periods pax tend to pay higher,this was around 9-10pm,
My question now is
Did the Taxify guy start the trip before we entered? making our time of the service rendered to increase?
Did he purposely put off his phone and we got double bill?
I and my friend was wondering was went wrong, were we scammed?
Was it because the driver felt we were 2 ladies and decided to scam us? Lol
Do you know I had to call him after 10mins that I have even entered my apartment, to confirm payment so I can get my receipt in my mail, few mins later I got it,
Did he purposely delay my payment confirmation. So my bill will match up with what we paid.
Please fellow beeevvveesss I need to clarity on this. Thanks 🥰 before I write to Taxify *Bolt*

DeleteSo, some weeks back, I had to meet up with an "Ex". Ex in quote cos, I was too young when we supposedly dating. Old things are passed away yh? Now, this ex who is married with a kid I believe is a guru at what he does. We hadn't seen in 4 whole years even tho we are in same town; we barely talk, only the "hello, how are you?", "I'm fine", "how's the family" kind of talk when need be. We are 2 busy individuals who genuinely wish each other well with no grudge. Won't say friends but we are cool.
ReplyDeleteSo, something happened and he was the first person I knew could help (remember, very good at his craft). We set a time and place (his work environment). I met him up and he helped but the gist is, throughout this meeting of ours, every of his friends that came got to know through him that we had dated. I heard things like "na my babe that year", "my ex"... bla bla bla and he was helping me answer questions like couples do while using the "We", "Us" thingy. Eeewww, I got irritated jore.
Am I the only one that feels this way? When I've moved on, I've moved on. I hold no grudge, I could be friendly but the moment you start reminding me of the past or supposedly good times (or maybe bad), I get disgusted and pull away except I've not completely moved on then some memories can make me smile.
Is this right? Is it healthy? Am I doing too much? Do I have a problem? Should I work on myself? Am I to be excited a long gone ex is reminding me of those days (eeewwww). HELP!!!!!!!

Sometimes, the real reason you want money is so that people can see you give in your church or society. Yes, I know you claim it's because you want to give for the glory of God; you lie. No matter what your pastor says, the glory of the God who created the heavens and the earth can't be confined to a mere building constructed for the ego of a man. Does it even make sense to you that God who craves relationship with humans He created, can be restricted to a building just because the tiles are from Italy or there's a Persian rug?
You want glory. That's why you don't think twice about dipping your hands in dirty and demonically awful things that no sane person would do. It's the reason many audition for reality and so-called talent shows, where they'll encourage you to be stupid - you'll do anything for fame. You want to be the One. The Alpha and Omega. You want your name in lights.
I don't even understand how the "gospel music industry" became a thing, but some of you actually want to use God to shine. You're not even afraid. Your hunger for glory is why you're in certain churches; not because the preacher is articulate, the Word is sound, or God asked you to be there. You're submitting yourself to people and places you should have no business with, cos you want glory. The problem is - glory isn't supposed to belong to anyone but God (Luke 4: 6 - 8).

Pls how am I supposed to deal with this. Im in my 1st trim but its been very challenging...I have this blinding hdache almsr everyday, severe vomiting and too weak to do nothing. My mum came arnd to help and wants me to come stay forca while till im better cos we dont reside in same state...2hrs apart. My hubby travels alot and is not always around. Hes saying I can only go for a week. Is he not being selfish? My mum is mad but ofcos cant say much. My mum told him last night that she cant be watching me in serious pains like this while hes not always around to even care for me. She told him id come back wen I'm more strong. My hubby has been giving me cold shoulder since last night. BV's was my mum wrong? Mum cant stay here with me too long cos my dad is home nd she has no help.

God arrested my heart one day. “He said, why do you pray with no real expectation of Me? You don’t believe I will do what you asked for? You cry and weep and pray fervently before Me, and then you forget what you’ve asked for and don’t recognize when I’ve done it.”
If there’s one thing I know how to do ladies, I know how to pray. But that alone is not good enough in God’s Kingdom. We must also know how to receive what we’ve asked for and be able to recognize when it manifests.
The truth is, some of us like to pray just to hear ourselves talk. We pray out of a sense of duty or obligation. But those are the wrong reasons. If you’re going to communicate with a mighty God, pray with great expectations. Be on the look out for His promise to show up at any given moment.
Contrary to how things may look for you right now, this is your year of miracles! This is your year of manifestation! God will give you stored up treasures from your heavenly account. He will send rain where there’s been drought. He will protect you from all harm. He will provide supernaturally. He will bless you with a deeper walk with Him. Recognize it when it happens and praise Him.
Prayer: Thank You Father God for your rich words to Me. I love you, Lord, and I appreciate your desire to bless me. Help me to stay in position to receive. Help me to not be moved by how things appear. Help me to not forget what I’ve prayed for, but to stay in high expectancy of you to do what you promised. Thank you in advance! In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Update on the Aleku issue.
ReplyDeleteThey sent the woman home yesterday, her punishment is that, she won't be at the burial of the husband and son. Then, it's after the burial they will now decide if they will forgive her or not. They didn't even allow her to pick a pin from the house. She left with just a wrapper, top and headtie. No footwear. The remaining kids were just shouting. The last kid ran after her mother, the uncles ran after him and dragged him back. It was emotional 😔

DeleteI read the post of Maresk wife murder, i felt chill down my spine. I was at my daughter's place for omugwo some some time back and i believe i averted a thing like this with an entitled maid.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter employed a lady when she was pregnant. She did accept this lady cos no one wanted to employ her cos she have a baby of almost two years. Trust me that baby can cry 😂.
My daughter ask her to resume every morning 8am. She feeds her and her child breakfast and also keeps lunch in a plate for both. This was not in the agreement but she felt it was the right thing to do.
She gives the child same snacks she gives her kids and also cereal just so she can look more healthy.
When i got there i was so proud of my daughter as i said this was how i trained you all. Mind you the agreement was 30k monthly, Monday to Friday and she leaves after doing chores and taken lunch. She even gives her tips sometimes to buy dinnee for her Lil girl.
So my daughter goes to the market to buy things, madam will go inside the kitchen and steal alot rice diapers, milk, sugar, Milo and so on. I didn't mention my daughter gives her 5pcs of diaper every week to help her baby from soiling the house.
Lets get to what she did. My dear this girl when she is working or cleaning my daughter is in the sitting room and she ask her to remove her leg so she can clean she will speak in calabar language calling her stupid woman, you relax and let me be cleaning your house remove leg you can't. Ahhhh i heard it and was surprised because i understand the language perfectly.
So i called her aside and ask her if my daughter have been mean to her , but i didn't tell her i knew what she said. She told me never she is an angel. She kept talking all the while acting like she was scolding her daughter.
Until one day she was washing clothes she started saying that why will she be the one to suffer and wash clothes for my daughter, why cant she be rich abi she no be woman like her. Why cant a man like my inlaw see her and marry her.
Oh my ears was paining me, i know my daughter do call her to watch the kids if she was going to be long.
So i called my daughter and told her everything and she started crying. Saying she have never wronged this lady and she was doing all the nice act so she won't feel cheated. It was her husband that forced her to get help because she was always tired and exhausted.
Next day she came, i and my daughter called her and said she won't be working with her any more. She started crying and begging that what has she done, said is her cleaning not OK? That was when i started speaking her language to her. She got shocked stood up and left without a word. Knowing her game was up.
But reason i wrote this, the woman felt too entitled kept stealing but my daughter calls it ori agu( hunger stealing). No matter what you do some people are just plane evil.
A wicked heart is a wicked heart. Thank God you came over to the house before she poison your daughter. God loves your daughter and sees her act that's why he sent you there.

DeleteOn Saturday, our wash woman came to wash ,as usual. My husband and I had already finished washing because there was no light throughout last week and it was the compound well everyone was fetching from. We feared that before she comes to wash, the water would have reduced drastically, so I was washing, he was rinsing (we have two young children) . We started planning how to explain to the lady. He said we should explain and still give her N500. I said N200 for transport. (even though we both know that her house is not too far). That's how we argued till she came. We gave her free N500 from him. She said thank you and left.
If I asked him for N500, he would have said he didn't have. Secondly, why not give her something reasonable for doing nothing? Especially when we had the right to say, "sorry no vex ,come back next week" and give her nothing. Why give her the impression that we have so much and like to show off? And I don't know her so well.
I pray for God's protection o.

If yes, then giving her money wasn't necessary but if no? Then you had to drop a small amount that equates her tfare so she won't feel like her day was wasted and she wasted tfare to get to your house.

I chose Nursing for her but my father went with his male children's option that she should go for maths stat.

I'm 35weeks today and I am feeling so anxious, I had my first at 37weeks+3days but I don't want my LO to come that early again because it will fall between 29-31st of this month but I don't mind a January 1st baby even though EDD is 16th of January, my younger sister's birthday is 15th January so she is praying he comes on her birthday 😀😀😀 but sincerely I just can't calm down anymore. Pls, how do I stop thinking about the arrival of this baby?

ReplyDeleteSo my alarm rang by 5:am forgetting that schools are now on holidays and we teachers are also resting. I quickly put it off and deactivated it. Unfortunately, sleep refused to come back. I've already taken my bath, food is on the fire. When I'm done I will go round in search of companies to submit my CVs. Another job must locate me by January.
Imagine after all our suffering, no December salary. I saw the 13th month salary post few days ago and prayed to God to make me experience it again.

I'm working with a tight budget just to get essentials on the list. Subsequently, i pray Jehovah Jireh will empower me with getting others as baby grows.
