  11. Beautiful! She did good.
Please ensure the public toilets are exceptionally clean!
Nigerians do not have maintenance culture. They don't know you continue to spend more on keeping a structure from deteriorating.

  12. I am always happy to see women of a certain age doing great things. Sometimes we focus so much on youth and youthfulness that we forget that there is value in everyone regardless of their age. May her star continue to shine and get brighter and brighter.

    1. Well, as much as I appreciate us always trying to applaud younger people doing big things (a.k.a #youngandgettingit) older people need to take solace in the fact that it takes a certain level of experience, maturity and exposure that comes through age to successfully run some projects. And when younger people try to push through these natural succession barriers, they come crashing. Soemtimes, crash may not even be that they become broke for the rest of their lives. Crash may mean that the idea will barely breakeven before everyone forgets about it and moves on.

Mo's edifice has a hotel. She would have a good idea of that industry because she brought Protea to Nigeria.
It has a cinema - she has also been in the entertainment industry and can now do her movie premieres without paying for anyone's space. Other people will pay to premiere movies in her facility and probably do a lunch/dinner in the restaurant.
She can host conferences and the likes for corporate organizations because she used to work with Mobil and I am certain her old friends would easily consider for such events, given the convenience of the hotel.

Can you see how her years of experience has put this more easily together? A younger person who doesnt have that base will open such a facility and pay marketers to go and look for customer for them. Or even start marketing on instagram and facebook, giving freebies to attract people. Or try to hinge on daddy's contacts who would want favours from daddy in return. The business would still succeed but not quite as easily.

Older people need to always remember that every experience they have had is valid and decide how to put it all together. Dont feel defeated when you see younger people taunting their 'early' success in your face. There are opportunities we miss very easily because of our lack of understanding that you have acquired. Me, I always value that life experience and take notes accordingly.

  14. Stella is this a sponsored post? After this woman deprived calabar tax payers of their livelihood, she moves on to next victim, Lagos. Its a pity that its only in nigeria such horrible people walk free. How anyone can ever work for such a character is beyond me.

amebo be unna work? anyway, she got approx. N2billion from Imoke under the pretence of building a worldclass studio Tinapa. And shortly after she decided to relocate the entire operations to Lagos studio. She never planned to pay back is what I hear. About from the poor treatment of staff (old and new) which her and her management are already known for, a lot of people lost their jobs and means of livelihood and no form of compensation whatsoever. We just hope its not a rumour that EFCC and ICPC are closing in on her, since Imoke left anyway.

    3. CRS can never pay Mo N2bn in one swirl. Where them wan where the money? As with all projects, such disbursements will come in installments and based upon agreements. There would have been lawyers involved to ensure that each party sticks to their end of the agreement and if case they dont, the other party is free to call off the agreement and do what is best for their organization/stakeholders.

Owing to this, Mo wont dare just 'pack up and leave CRS if she didn't have a strong legal backing to do so. The people you should be questioning is the Govt. that wants to build a N2bn studio when schools are yet unfinished, skolombo boys are on the streets, the port isnt fully functional, TINAPA is not functioning at its highest potential and tourist sites like the ranch resort are dying for lack of quality maintenance and proper marketing. Wont all these other projects generate jobs for people and revenue for the state Govt., if well managed?

CRS Govt. need to stop this touch-and-leave approach and develop good succession plans. It seems like each Governor wants to outshine the last in his quest for developing a better tourism idea. If Liyel followed Donald's plan, started a few new ones and combined both to leave a succession plan for Ben we won't even be worried about people like Mo.

    4. Lollll Chikito baby oh so naive. Do some indepth research and you will see that Imoke did in fact give her close to 2bn. Its not even hidden gist. It was in the open when they launched back in 2013 or so. Insiders are never loyal to people like Mo, they would always spill. And yes its also a known fact that she never paid back! There was an agreement and she backed out. Dont worry, time will tell. Time will surely tell.

Chikito you call yourself a blogger and you cant carry out basic investigative journalism? How fucking sad. Its no news who or what built studio tinapa or how much it cost and where the money came from and what sort of joint venture it was meant to be. Maybe you are even Mo herself only God knows. Next time, a basic google search will help you. Coming here like a drunk buffoon saying CRS cant give someone 2bn blah blah. Hilarious Twat! Because a few have talked about your so called ‘intelligence’ you now want to play god. Dumb skull
