“I killed Jennifer,” the doorbell camera recorded Egwuagu saying as he left his sister’s home moments after the murder, the Austin American-Statesman reported Sunday, citing the arrest affidavit.
Witnesses also reported to the police that they heard him utter the same words as he left his sister's house with a smile and a bloody knife.
Autopsy revealed she was three months pregnant at the time of the incident and every attempt made to save her life and that of the unborn child was unsuccessful.
Michael Egwuagu was jailed at $500,000 bond.

ReplyDeleteI pity their parents.
DeleteMental issh probably
DeleteIt his morning I told my younger brother that I recently accepted back into my home due to drug abuse that he will have to go back to home and wait for his NYSC because I found out he has gone back to drugs.
DeleteSmall boy o, but sometimes he scares the very shit out of me with just the way he looks at me.
I can't wait for weekend for him to leave.
I hope you have other people in the house with you. Weekend is too far.
DeleteYou better watch your back. Sleep with one eye closed and make sure you keep a weapon of opportunity near you while he’s there.
DeleteHappy new year in advance gift by the devil.
ReplyDeleteToo many people are still crying entering 2020.
May God save everyone of us Amen.
What a great loss to the families. RIP baby girl and comfort to your families
Not all that wears cloth is normal.
ReplyDeleteAngents of devil in human form.
When you discover them, learn to walk away.
Mental disorder is real
ReplyDeleteYes, but some people are just pure evil.
DeleteI wonder what the motive was. How many parents saw this guy playing football and going to university and looked down on their own sons for not being a star athlete and bringing fame and glory to the family. Tappers and envyers stop it! May we never know the pain and shame this family is going through.
ReplyDelete🙌🏽
DeleteAmen

Micheal Egwuagu,i don't know your reason for killing your pregnant sister no matter the reason, you are wicked and heartless...
He sure is very sick, this one is not normal.
ReplyDeleteThis guy seem like he has mental illness.
ReplyDeleteOmg,sicko + Village people manipulation
ReplyDeleteWicked brother
ReplyDeleteOh no, most likely mental illness. But if his mental illness started after his football career, maybe it's time to research other effects of football apart from concussion. Who knows which other brain injuries are as a result of violent sports?
ReplyDeleteNiB...you deserve a drink. Indeed, he could have had CTE. Aaron Hernandez, a pro American footbal player who killed his friend in 2013 and then committed suicide in prison was found to have the worst case of CTE. There's a likelihood this guy had some form of brain injury.
DeleteOh wow, I'll read up on CTE. For some years now people have been linking football to damaging brain injuries. But I wonder why boxers don't suffer same, since they take direct blows to the head. Unless boxing matches are truly fixed as rumored..
Delete@NiB Boxers are known to suffer Parkinson's disease at the later stage of their lives.
DeleteWe need to take mental illness more seriously as a people. I won't be surprised if he has an undiagnosed and untreated mental illness.
ReplyDeleteMay she and her little one rest in peace
I just remembered the movie "concussion". The guy is probably sick
ReplyDeleteThis saddens my heart. It is well. Mental health is an area that should be focused on greatly. I pray I can do my path this new year to help people.
