Crooner Tony Tetuila Confirms He And Tic Tac Are Suing Wizkid For Copyright Infringement

Veteran Nigerian singer Tony Tetuila, and Ghanaian singer Tic Tac, are suing their Junior Colleague Wizkid over copyright infringement.







They  are demanding for over N30 million from WIZKID because his single “Gbese” produced by DJ Tunez has some content from their 2004 “Fefe Na Efe” hit song.
They are also seeking 35% of both digital sales and royalties DJ Tunez and Wizkid received from the song

    Very good for them! Many new generation Nigerian singers can't even write their own original song that can last a lifetime.

    I was listening to Mariah Carey all I want for Christmas, I couldn't help but noticed how many donkey years, that song have been out there and it keeps coming back on replay every year. Even if she doesn't release any other song in her life, she'll keep making millions yearly just through this song.

    But, Nigerian new generation singers keeps recycling and recycling older Nigerian singers songs.

    WizKid should reach out to them ASAP. He should not listen to some of his fans those ones have been saying " but he gave them a shout out na ". If Tony and Tic- Tac wins this one, other cases might spring up
