ReplyDeleteI think it would have been better after the announcement of the award was made,BVs should have been asked to nominate people for each awards and any BV who has the highest numbers of nominations should be included in each category and atleast there should be 4-5 names on each category of the award.
After the nominations is done,the list of nominated names for each category should be out then we all vote.

i was at an even over the weekend not a wedding ceremony. The mother of the baby had her face makeup from 8am, we went to church and came back around 1 pm, she had different cloths changed into yet her makeup didn't shift even a little. There was nothing like little touching during the event or why taking her photo shots with her baby an her husband.
DeleteAfter the picture section, she finally changed to the last cloth which was the fourth wear, still the makeup didn't clean or have anyone to adjust it. The lady had the makeup till 9pm in the evening because the occasion was on till late at night, her face will still the same way she had that makeup since morning. She got tired of the makeup and had to go and wash it off. Face wipes couldn't clean up the makeup, i want to understand what did the makeup artist used to get that kind of flawless and lovely work done. With heat and sweat still the makeup didn't clean or get messed up.
Someone should give me the advise on what i need to do to have my makeup from morning to evening intact without having to do small small touching .

DeleteGod morning wonder people of this blog. Pls there is this thing that has been disturbing me. Hubby insisted we enrol our only child (daughter) in a big private school against my wish. She is six years old and just resumed this term. The school fees for a term is like my two months salary. He said there are plenty advantages when a child attend a big school filled with rich kids and good standard. I asked him to tell me how mingling with rich kids is an advantage cos I think it will even rub off badly on the child especially when they talk about Abroad trips and Disney land, some of them were born in UK and US. My child comes home and begs me to take her to UK for Xmas vacation cos her friends are going this Xmas, she asks for pizza and chocolates and so on.

Their standard is good but I'm a teacher, I do teach her at home and I can even arrange a lesson teacher for her so that one is not an excuse, it's the fees that is killing me cos we both contributed to pay it, he can't do it alone. We share expenses.
Where is that bv that once shared in one 'maids post' like that, about her mum enrolling them in a big school while they were always hungry at home and their maid gave her something bad to eat or so, what are the benefits of that decision by your mum? Other bvs who come from a struggling home but attended big schools, what did you gain from that decision by your parents? DeleteI got a job on the island that pays 100k.... I have been a freelancer for over a year and I have been able to raise 1,050,000. It would ve been more but I invested it in professional qualifications. I have two degrees. My problem now is commuting from the mainland to island and I am always sick. The salary does not offer any incentives except the 100k.
