ReplyDeleteGoing anon on this. I was a secret spouse, hubby's family knew about me though, they supported our marriage. The only person that didn't know was hubby's wife in the abroad. Well she knew when we were dating though. Eventually she bugged hubby's phone and found out about our wedding and she packed out of hubby's place with her kids only to return a week later. Lol. His dick game is strong sis, I understand her. Now they are still living together and she seems to have made peace with the fact that hubby has a Nigerian wife. I'm hoping to go over there next year with my kids, hubby will rent a different apartment for us and visit occasionally. I'm ok with the arrangement for now, we can share him. I don't want to be the reason that woman and her kids separate from hubby and resent him. One love.

He asked that she remain with the kids while his cousin come over to take care of him. 2 christmases later he and his cousin had a car crash on route ph and she died on the spot. DeleteA close friend of mine ended up in this situation. Hers was a sad story coz she actually had no inkling. We did the traditional marriage in Benin where her dad is actually a title holder. White wedding was supposed to be in 'the abroad' the following year. Only for my friend to insist on a mini vacation with hubby. Guy man took her his friends place in a neighboring city and lied that he had an emergency to attend to then left her there and disappeared. Unfortunately, while she was there (on the fourth day), her hubby's friend had a visitor who turned out to be her elder brothers old friend (all of them are from Benin) she hadn't seen him in over 15 years. That one got talking to her and they even did video call with her brother in Nigeria. Na there kasala burst. Turns out her DH is married to oyinbo with 3 kids!He even lied about his age, what he does, everything! my friend fell sick. She was so scared about getting pregnant for the guy as they had been lashing without protection. Meanwhile i had warned her when i noticed she was the one that paid for her flat in Lagos and even dropped most of the money for their wedding oh. She returned to Nigeria without seeing bros. When he was confronted, the bastard was not even remorseful. In fact, he didn't want to divorce her (coz they had gone to Ikoyi registry already). I really felt for her, it almost led to depression. Someone that had changed her name all over social media, did pre-wedding shoot and all. Shocking thing is his family knew oh. But claim they thought she also knew. She's back the the single life now. Picking up the pieces of her life small small. True story.
