    3. Anonymous 20.04...its not until someone is close to someone before you can be happy for them. After they have been married for that long and they have not welcome any babies the. You suddenly hear the news of them becoming parents, it is normal human reaction to feel what mimilove feels. It's called human empathy! Our emotions run deeper from one person to another. That's mimiloves way of expressing the overwhelming joy she has for the couple on hearing the News.
      Congratulations once again Sinach.

    13. However the baby came, as long as she didn't steal the baby, we are grateful to God for the child. Na wa for una. Just rejoice with her. Maybe later if she feels like it, she might tell her story.

      Delete
    14. I don't get it. Even it was through IVF or surrogacy, is the baby not hers? Did she not welcome a baby? Must you put the how you got your baby in your announcement. People who carried their own babies, do they add it in their write-ups or announcement? If you think IVF is easy, go try it naa.

      Delete
    15. However she had the baby, she wanted one and got one now. Ivf o, surrogacy o. God made it possible. Whether or not she chooses to share how, it's strictly her prerogative. You people should leave her to nurture her baby in peace.

      Delete
    16. Don shut up. Who gave the doctors knowledge?

Through IVF, Surrogacy, adoption...... she had a baby and that's the most important thing.

      Delete
    17. Everybody calm down. What I think they are trying to say is if it is IVF, if prominent church people speak up about it freely, it will go a long way to ease off the stigmatization and also inform those who does not understand that it is ok to seek fertility help and use alternative means to become parents.
Non of these means are easy o. And using them does not make you inferior. I think it's high time the code of silence on these options are broken.

      Delete
    18. TRUE! It was either through a surrogate or adoption.

      Delete
    19. Is there any stigmatisation about ivf?

      Delete
    20. @sapphire I agree. My sisters pastor just had a baby through surrogacy after 15 years. And have been open about it to the point that members are coming for counselling sef on the how-to. My church here, the pastors adopted both kids. So no shame

      Delete
    21. IVF is pregnancy. It just means it is a medical procedure whereby the sperm of the husband is extracted & the egg of the woman extracted, put together and then placed in the womans womb. So the woman gets pregnant if the procedure is successful. In the case of surrogacy, the womans egg & the mans sperm is placed in another womans womb & she carries the baby for the couple. So I think you are referring to surrogacy. Either way, Sinach is a mother now and we thank God for the blessing of a child. Some people do this procedure and it still doesn't work. Even adoption plans fall through, when the mother of the child changes her mind. So we still thank God for the child.

I have been through adoption and 8 IVFs, and I dont wish the process on my worst enemy. However God blesses you with a child, just be grateful. So many tried all and got nothing.
