    1. Exactly. It is a spiritual thing about your relationship with God. Nuff said.

    2. But much more than prosperity..Tithing comes with a promise "rebuking the devourer for our sakes" . Devourers can come in many shapes: spending money on Ill health, on hospital bills of relatives, failed business risks, death, even as mundane as several failed visa applications. The devourer is any rabbit hole through which money is lost.
Tithing is a part of the Covenant. It amuses me that satanists understand covenants much more than Christians e.g core satanists don't play with tithing in their realm, they also don't have sex with someone else other than their sacred Partners.
Prosperity is all round. Its value is not monetary.

  2. Without tithe and offerings many pastors will never ventured into God's work. They are all there for the free money.
Help the poor instead of enriching the criminals in cloaks.

True..... Nigerians are the reason theres a church on every street & corner, i dont blame these greedy Pastors using the bible & selected verses to keep the blindfolds on, if most ppl channel that money some place else, these fake Pastors will go into farming.

    2. Exactly, Nigerian are so gullible once it comes to religion, they lose their senses.

  5. Your decision to pay or not pay your tithe should be personal, people coming to social media to talk about it making confusing young believers who are working on increasing their faith is bad.. The tithe is a principle that follows a pattern for a purpose to honor the possessor that ends in Praise..

  8. The truth is I have never paid tithe but I keep getting favours. I keep getting blessed and getting favours at work. However, I have a good heart (not blowing my trumpet). I hardly judge. For Instance, if you pass beside me and you frown at me, I will conclude you probably have a terrible tummy upset at that particular time and not that you are rude.

When someone does bad to me, I ignore them, report them to God but I still do good to them.(people term this as being weak but trust me it make my reporting them to God justified and makes their punishment faster if God decides to avenge for me)
Do whatever works for you, but don't do it and start complaining saying things like I pay tithe and do first fruit yet no favours. I am a virgin and good why is that runs girl getting favours and I am not bla bla bla.

God looks at the heart, try and purify it and watch wonders happen

    1. The point of giving tithe is not to get back in return. That is what Nigerians keep getting wrong.

    2. Anon 15:13 you lie. There are promises made for tithe payers. Like cankerworms not doing one thing one thing.
See if you have been paying tithe and all those promises have not been coming true in your life, then somebody definitely lied

    3. 17.57 seems you missed the point. The point is THAT should not be your motivation. This is not a business transaction.

    4. Also, go and read Habakkuk 3:17 to understand that our Christian walk is not going to be all HIGHS. There will be trials, tithe paying does not exclude anyone from that. If you think otherwise, you lie.

  9. The Word of God is settled in heaven Psalms 119:89
Tithe is not meant for "churches" but for Widows, orphans, strangers
and those who preach the gospel as their only means of livelihood -Deut. 14:28-29,26:12-15
    Matt. 23:23, 25: 31-46, Acts 6:1-6, 1 Tim. 5:2-9

Those who think that godliness is a means to financial gains have been robbed of the truth -1 Tim. 4:5-8
The fact that you are not paying your tithes and think that you are not losing money financially
is no news, it does not change the Word of God.
People are fornicating, robbing, killing, aborting babies, doing rituals and "nothing" has happened to them
    But look at that Word that is settled in heaven;
Ecclesiastes 11:9 9Rejoice, O young man, while you are young, and let your heart be
glad in the days of your youth. Walk in the ways of your heart and in the sight of your
eyes, but know that for all these things God will bring you to judgment.

Matthew 25:41Then He will say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, you who
are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42For
I was hungry and you gave Me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave Me nothing
to drink, 43I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, I was naked and you did not
clothe Me, I was sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’

  12. I used to ay my tithe & that man-made doctrine called first fruit , but I’ve stopped. I’d rather share d money among d poor men & women looking for as merger as 5:000 to start selling tomatoes, zobo, ground nuts, vegetables , fruits et al. It’s my resolution & I stand by it. Some churches have even started preaching paying of first fruits in January to show u how important ur entire January salary mean to them. On d last day, let God judge us all & bless who did well.

  13. Very true. Tithe preaching has been used to hoodwink our people for so long.

Another is first fruit. These pastors are so rich and getting richer while those they're soupposed to pastor are getting impoverished.

Let folks search YouTube of Daddy Freeze being interviewed on tithe and first fruit with bible quotes to understand why it's a mind game by these pastors.

  16. Deuteronomy 14:28-29
[28]At the end of every three years, bring all the tithes of that year’s produce and store it in your towns,
[29]so that the Levites (who have no allotment or inheritance of their own) and the foreigners, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns may come and eat and be satisfied, and so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

    Deuteronomy 26:12-15
[12]When you have finished setting aside a tenth of all your produce in the third year, the year of the tithe, you shall give it to the Levite, the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow, so that they may eat in your towns and be satisfied.
[13]Then say to the Lord your God: “I have removed from my house the sacred portion and have given it to the Levite, the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow, according to all you commanded. I have not turned aside from your commands nor have I forgotten any of them.
[14]I have not eaten any of the sacred portion while I was in mourning, nor have I removed any of it while I was unclean, nor have I offered any of it to the dead. I have obeyed the Lord my God; I have done everything you commanded me.
[15]Look down from heaven, your holy dwelling place, and bless your people Israel and the land you have given us as you promised on oath to our ancestors, a land flowing with milk and honey.”

Me I haven't seen where the use the above versus to talk about tithing in the church. The most common reference they all use is Malachi 3:9-12.
    Malachi 3:9-12
[9]You are under a curse—your whole nation—because you are robbing me.
[10]Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.
[11]I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it is ripe,” says the Lord Almighty.
[12]“Then all the nations will call you blessed, for yours will be a delightful land,” says the Lord Almighty.

    1. These two Scriptures explain it all. Please people should decide how the do or share their tithes. It an individual choice simple.

  17. 2Cor 9:6,7
...give to God not out of compulsion nor grudgingly...
    God loves a cheerful giver.
The moment one is being compelled to bring a fraction of your salary,,,,such isn't acceptable to God.
Tithes was meant the priests and Levites who had no inheritance what-so-ever in Israel.
Their services came to a halt when Christ died and the curtain to the most holy place was torn in two... Matthew 27:50-54

Since then, giving of tithes ceased.
You may wonder, who did the Apostles catered for themselves... did they rely on the contributions of the congregation?
None laboured more than Apostles Paul, but he said "these hands laboured to provide for his own needs and those with him" Acts 20:33-35

Do not be fooled by the folly of today's Pastors, God is not the one spending any money you pay l(tithe/contributions).
If you wanna give to God, give willingly and not grudgingly.
