A lecturer, Federick Bassey showed his empathic side when he offered to babysit twins for a student so that she could write her exams......
How kind of him.............
When i was in the University I used to feel bad for those who came to lectures with their new babies and then Baby would start crying....

Thats so sweet...But we ought to show empathy to our fellow human beings..I wish her success in her exams...
ReplyDeleteBut they should have friends or family member to help babysit pending the time they will be through with their lectures or exams
ReplyDeleteI do help some of my friends then in school to babysit their babies, it's not an easy thing to do
*Larry was here*
I remember when one lecturer refused to allow me breastfeed my daughter during my PGDE days.
ReplyDeleteTrust my mum to raise the roof until the woman had no choice than to let me.
She was even a female lecture sef, hain...
DeleteAnd it will be a woman who would refuse to let you breastfeed....why are we like this....
DeleteThe lecturer is a woman and she refused to allow you breastfeed your baby? Is she normal at all? Denying a baby of food? A woman for that matter.
DeleteIf f exams r timed then its you tht we lose big time u vld have made probision ahead by breast ecpresss bfore exams for ur mum to feed d baby. It ws a distractn to fellow students in d exams hall amongst other wrng, time if u were doing a computer based exams will u pause to do tht? U will just faill woefully bigtime. U r talking as if its right!!! U breasfeed in my class, u will b sent out to do ur thg and not distract every1 to failure
DeleteSo na pikin breast na hin want distract everyone to failure, una never talk true .LoL if e be say open breast wey no be you get, na your weak point.

Beautiful. Oga you will have twins, you don't know what you have done. You contacted grace

ReplyDeleteI bet that lady passed that exam even tho she didn't do well he will automatically pass her. Emotions are involved already.
ReplyDeleteSweet Lecturer, The good Lord will reward you with Triplets.
ReplyDeleteI had my baby strapped to my back while defending my final year project. I was dancing rocking her while at same time facing the panel . Motherhood is a huge responsibility. God bless all mothers..
ReplyDeleteWow such a kind act. You have contracted the grace to birth twins.
ReplyDeletena the lecturer give her belle.

This looks like one of the halls in Yaba College of Technology.
ReplyDeleteThat is one of the NSLT halls in University of Calabar, not Yabatech.
DeleteNonsense....so how did he now invigilate the students and like anon 11:31 said sentiments go enter finally. I am not buying this crap of a story.
ReplyDeleteAmong twelve there must be a Judas
DeleteMay God's grace and mercy always locate you even when you don't deserve it. Amen.
DeleteBitter leaf @1208. That’s your own cup of tea. The majority of us love it.
DeleteI do that always...
ReplyDeleteMaybe he wasn't an invigilator,so still possible to babysit.University has really changed unlike during my uni days that if you are married, be ready to graduate with third class and extra years.Marriage was forbidden in my dept.
ReplyDeleteSo her hubby cant take time off and babysit the bay,no Mum or MIL to come over.Mtshewwwww!!!
ReplyDeleteeither a man or a single girl...you will never get it till it happens to you. when u born come and tell us if its everytime you get help for your child
DeleteI remember during my PG program, our HOD had to babysit my course mate baby during an exam cos the woman that normally help her did not show up that morning. Very nice man..
ReplyDeletekind hearted man
ReplyDeleteSchools should make provision for mothers to drop their child(ren) with their child minder/nanny. How many babies will lectures carry because most of the female students are married women and would at one point or the other before the end of the programme, give birth . As he baby-sits, how is he meant to invigorate such an exam. Having the child in the hall would be a big distraction for other students and the mother as well. Exams dont last more than two hours I presume.
ReplyDeleteTrue @ Jossy. Had one exam this morning, the baby was just distracting us
DeleteSome babies are gentle you know, so far food dey belle.
DeleteVery kind of him
ReplyDeleteVery kind of him
ReplyDeleteSo kind of him...

ReplyDeleteNice however I remember my last masters program 3 years ago. The nursing mother beside me hid her note inside her 1 month old baby dress. I was disgusted
