The late ‘King of Pop’ according to Forbes, took the top spot after his estate made over $60 million in the last 12 months, making it the seventh time Jackson will emerge the highest earning celebrity in a spin.
The result was arrived at by measuring the pretax income of dead celebrities for a period of one year — October 1, 2018 to October 1, 2019 — alongside data from Nielsen Music, IMDBPro and interviews with industry insiders.
Michael Jackson's streaming surged despite recent controversy: 2.1 billion U.S. spins, up from 1.8 billion a year ago. With proceeds flowing from his Mijac Music catalog, a Las Vegas show and a long-term deal with Sony, he retains his postmortem cash crown for the seventh consecutive year,” Forbes said.
Elvis Presley, famous singer and actor, came second on the list with $39 million, while Charles Schulz, prominent cartoonist, secured third position with $38 million pretax income.
Bob Marley rounded out the top five after raking in over $20 million, while Nipsey Hussle, held the 10th spot with over $11 million.

DeleteHell no! Not even in the same paragraph!
Now I'm pissed...ðŸ˜
I am glad Michael Jackson has kids who need the money to live the life they want. I just felt so sad, seeing Whitney Houston’s name. To think that all that money is there and Bobbi Kristina is gone. O gosh!!
