    I wish I could be this close to my mum but never. I confided in her about a friend and she went and blurted it out to the person...of cos you could imagine what happened next. Anyways told her that I will never confide in her again and that was it. She made me hate gossip with a passion cos she became notorious and it affected us her children. Once I notice you're a gossip that's the end. Happy for them.

      Did I drop this comment? Wow. That's exactly what my mum does. she gossips about me with my eldest sister and i hate that. My sister is a big time gossip.
      Always putting enmity between my mom and others. Always quarelling with others and forming good person. Complete nuisance. This is the kind bond I want to share with all my kids in future.

    Alex is still young. Only in Naija that a 23y/o is expected to think and act like a 40 sumthin. So much is expected from these kids who are pushed into the limelight. They are so scrutinized w/o space & forgiveness to make errors. Nigeria is hard mehn, the mentality of the people plus the ones who hv psychiatric issues just make it one hell hole.

    I check on my nieces just like that, since I am now their "mom". Cant sleep or rest if they never reach house. I worry for them on making the right choices. 22, 23 are young adults, they still have some of the teenage thinking brain. But no oo, in Naija they should be perfect as Jesus. That's how people will be insulting them upandan if they erred. Sighs...
