DeletePlease doctor and mother's help me. I have passed my due date, I was advise to come for induction in two days time. My sister said I should ignore them and wait for natural labour to come. This is my second child nd I fell into labour naturally at 40 weeks and 2 days with my first child and gave birth through the varginal although I was induce at the hospital making me spend days there. The doctor that ask me to come for induction said it fifty fifty that I might deliver normal if the induction is successful or might end up been operated on. Please help me I don't know what to do should I keep waiting like my elder sis said or I should just follow the doctor instruction. I am very ok nd baby is kicking fine it just that Labour refuse to start. I don't want to spend days at the hospital like my first child. Also I have been doing long walks every morning and evening plus drinking hot water as I was advise by my sister. Pls help me as the way my sister narrate induction is scary. Thank you very much.

That's exactly why anybody that has a modicum of sense shouldn't raise their kids in this environment. Nigeria is doomed. Whenever I remember the sacrifice Dr Adedevoh made for this country, I shudder at how insensitive, callous and inhuman we've become. If this society wasn't populated by animals, that woman would have been on our lips everyday of the week. If not for her, tens of thousands of people reading this would have been rotting in their graves by now. No monument of note was named after this great woman. In saner climes, a day could have been picked and observed as a public holiday in recognition of her selfless service. You'd be surprised more than 50% of people reading this don't even know what she did. It's such a dumb society. A society of proudly dumb men and women. They're more interested in inanities.
Some weeks ago, I drove round to clear my head and noticed the whole streets were empty. I was a bit worried. I called a friend to ask if all was okay and he said it could be because of the grand finale of Big Brother! What a country! Even men? These are the type of things that interest Nigerians. If you want to gain their attention, let it be Big Brother, church, pastor, wig, breast, night vigil, fish, beer, fineboy, Ronaldo, etc. It's either one nonsense or the other. Serious stuff bores them. The average Nigerian is so basic. There's no road in the entire country. A good majority of the populace provide their own water. Something as common as constant electricity has remained a mirage even in the year of our Lord 2019 and everybody is calm! Nigeria makes trillions every other month, yet, Libya has better infrastructure! What a shame of a country. Their avaricious leaders are looting them left , right and center but they don't care. They even celebrate and give them titles.
I'll keep repeating this to those that have the capacity to understand what I'm saying, run away from this country before it becomes too late if you can. It will not get better. Every country deserves the type of leadership it gets. Now, imagine a type of country that deserves someone like Buhari. Is that what you wish yourself and kids?
