DeleteThose of us that board lagos Danfo buses really need to be extra careful and watchful these days, Lagos one chance people now have a new way of operating.
This happened to a dad and his son in my work place yesterday, they boarded a bus (I can't remember the bus stop and the route) but the bus spoilt on the way, I don't know if it was all part of the ploy but they had to take another bus. In the new bus, there was space at the back and one vacant seat beside the driver, the other seat was already taken and so the passenger already occupying the seat came down for the son to enter while the dad and other passengers sat at the back. On getting to the bus stop, the passengers at the back got down meanwhile they already pointed a knife to the guy in front that he shouldn't say anything but the dad was waiting for the guy to come down when he saw that the son was not responding it was then he started shouting that they should let his son come down, at first gaan the person sitting beside the door was still proving stubborn and pretending that he was struggling with the door, it was until the shouting increased that they opened the door and allowed him to come down. While all these was happening, they had already collected his phone it was until he came down that he was able to tell his dad that they had taken his phone.
Assuming that guy was not with his dad, as the passengers at the back got down they would have zoomed off and left with the guy and he won't be able to talk because of the knife they pointed at him.
Pls stay safe everyone and let's be sensitive and watchful (in prayer) of the kind of buses we enter, I know it can be unsuspecting at times but then with the spirit of God on our inside we will be able to tell.

DeleteI posted this over the weekend but didn't get much response. This morning, I sat down to think about my life. I'm 33,i have a small job I'm managing but I have no friends. I moved to Lagos 8 months ago and no I work as a PA so no one really works with me to relate with except my boss who is a grandma. How do I even make friends? I live alone and move around alone neither do I know anyone in this Lagos apart from aunties. I'm just tired.

He asked me my name and when I told him he asked what I do for a living, I told him I'm an unemployed graduate and he asked if I registered for any of those jobs, I told him I did for civil defense and he asked me to take the print out to his secretary but when I took it to her she just put it into many other forms. I'm worried like is this how they collect people's CV and dump? God help me

I ever went with my brother to pick an uncle to the airport, when we got to his room to help carry his things, In my usual manner, I opened the wardrobes and everywhere drawers to be sure he ddnt leave anything, nothing was left but on going out, I saw some papers in a file and I called my brother's attention he heard and was like, leave it there, it's not important. How could something so clean and new be unimportant, my curious part glanced and I saw CVs. Kai. I felt bad. And use style to tell him it wasnt fair and someday, he may need same people. Well, I'm not sure he knew what I was even saying cos I made it look like lessons I've learnt in life.

I didn’t read where she said her in-laws were terrible people. They are only trying to help, besides if they didn’t like her, they won’t go the xtra mile to help get her a job.
Her husband has a business, who would he leave it for? What if his wife doesn’t know how to run the business?
Whatever we do in life, our kids must always come first.
If only someone I know had taken up such job offer, she won’t be in the mess she is in right now. Husband she didn’t want to be apart from has abandoned her and their kids.

Amen,I pray so. After years of applying for jobs,I finally was granted an interview scheduled for this morning. Then my baby developed a high fever last night and she's cranky this morning,refusing to eat and uncomfortable. I pleaded with my husband to take her to the hospital and I'll catch up with him after the interview but he remained adamant that they have a training in the office. I have no help and I just feel myself gradually slipping away. I had to send a message to the interviewers and plead for a reschedule so I can get my baby to the hospital. I'm so sad. I don't know why my things always go left. Does God really listen to me?
