Mike, before entering BBNaija show, was a professional athlete for Great Britain and lived in Manchester, United Kingdom with his wife.
In an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu Mike disclosed that he would be relocating to Lagos to explore opportunities available to him.
He added that he would love to explore the entertainment industry, acting and also expand his Cigar brand rather than go back and be restricted to a particular lifestyle.
“It’s about maximizing opportunity that is my goal.
I will be relocating to Lagos state, I don’t want to put myself in a jungle.
Now it is about working smart not hard, would be expanding the Aireyys brand.”

He is not Nigerian that's making some people protest on twitter.
DeleteMike claims the mum is from a Yoruba speaking part of Nigeria, call the name of the place nau whosai. Who are your cousins kwanu whosai. He doesn't understand a word in Yoruba calling MC Oluomo Mc Olumomo.
Come to Lagos we love you like that cuz you will excel.
Plus Joe Abdallah, he's not Nigerian. His father is Italian, call the name of your Papa place in Nigeria whosai.
Diane Russet deceived them she's Diane Yashim, her Dad is sierra Leone, call the name of your Papa place in Northern Nigeria whosai she's saying I'm from Kaduna I'm from Kaduna.
The ones who used their school pocket money in unilag to vote in big brother show are the ones I feel for more. Their eye is clearing small small from the juju.

I do hope he had a thorough talk with his wife and that they are in agreement.
Fact Ms.A,I wish them the best. Life is so adventurous to some.
DeleteMS A the way you change mouth ehn. So Mike no be bad person again?
DeleteΓow, I see many of you fans are kids with no brain and can't decipher between speaking the truth and hating!
DeleteWhen did I call Mike a bad person?
All the posts and comments are still on SDK blog, you can go back read my comment about him being petty towards other housemates.
Please, give it a rest.
I was never against the guy even though, I knew he will not win big brother Naija season four.
M&s A, baba! E never reach that naa.
DeleteM&s A, haba! E never reach that naa.
DeleteGoodluck Mike. All the best.
ReplyDeleteWoww my own Manchester, i live in Manchester. Who knows if he was my neighbour all this while.
ReplyDeleteNa true. Probably lives in Alderley Edge or Wilmslow where the rich buy houses.
DeleteSo entertainment is better than sports now? SMH
ReplyDeleteHe’s exploring other opportunities. What’s not to like?
DeleteI wish him the best. Expanding his companies here will do him good. Luckily, a lot of these industry/business people want to asdociate with him. So thats beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIt might be the beginning of the end of the union. I wish not, but just saying. These things do happen with moves like this and cultural shock might just enable a split. Hope the marraige will withstand the test of time, location and new relationships in his quest to explore and dig for gold outta Lagos.
ReplyDeleteWishing him the best he wishes himself. Aminnnnn.
His wife might relocate with him, or she maybe shuttling btw UK and Lagos. She is a celebrity kind of here in UK. I knew her from a British reality dance competition called DANCING ON ICE 2017 and she is also an Olympic runner for GB. So she will just weigh her options.
ReplyDeleteNigeria is a lovely place to be except the bad govt and insecurity in the country.
Abeg she should remain there jor. Relocate to Nigeria for what and as what exactly? Mike’s wife? Thats it? Even the Mike can still b in the UK n expand here. Just b shuttling rather than relocating. Just saying tho. Wish him da best.
DeleteAt the end of the day she has West Indian blood. They are more opportunistic than Nigerians. Both of them will try everything to make it together.
DeleteHmmm this one will add to the over congested Lagos with additional traffic and bad road wahala...
ReplyDeleteWEB, nawa to you oo. Na that one be ya wahala? You funny pass that man
DeleteOkay Good for him..
ReplyDeleteGood for him
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of opportunities in Nigeria, and with the social capital he has, he can succeed if he tries. But someone should tell him this country is hard oo, doing business here is not a walk in the park, but there are high returns for those who weather the odds.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, what does ‘not putting himself in a jungle’ mean? Is he referring to the less developed areas of Nigeria?
In the context with which he used it, i think he means Not focusing on athletics alone.
DeleteHe met he wanna try other part of entertainment not just sport
DeleteGoodluck to him
ReplyDeleteGood luck to you Mike, I hope you succeed here, It is always the case when you leave the stereotype life in London to free life style in Africa.
ReplyDeleteI’m sure he will make it in the entertainment industry.
ReplyDeleteman like Mike
ReplyDeleteI knew he might want to do this when in the BBN house he was asking Osas how she felt and coped when she returned to Nigeria.
ReplyDeleteOh my Mike we love you
ReplyDeletealready, You are
welcome. Can't wait to
have you in our screen.
Hmm I wish all the best. But can't he just shuffle the UK and Nigeria for now and see how things turn out before relocating?
ReplyDeleteI mean this BBN thing comes and goes with the season once there are new set of HMs all attention goes to them.
